As you may know, there is such a thing as combat effectiveness in ew6. for inf this is 80%, this skill claims that it increases the combat effectiveness by 10%. so there are two possibilities: 80% + 10% = 90% or 80% + (80 * 0.1) = 88%. I tested it by attacking the same unit with a general 40 times, 20 times with and 20 times without an infantry master. this showed that with an infantry master you do an average of 7.5% more damage. this suggests that the real percentage is 8% and that because the measurement group was not large enough I had a different result.
with these results I can conclude that arty probably gets 15% (60 * 0.25) and cav 10.5% (70 * 0.15).

Thanks a lot Lumen. That still sounds like a pretty good skill. Its not surprise, assualt, or terrain bonus, but it will be a great 4th or 5th skill.

I deemed the critical skills as very bad skills so I don’t have them at all

I deemed the critical skills as very bad skills so I don’t have them at all I agree, there are better skills. Rage is pretty good though imo

Rage is pretty good though imo The setback is to maintain the hp range tho but it's really hard to justify critical skills as the % is not consistent and maybe with items like war drum it makes it consistent IDK

Well, seems I can keep Petain’s Intercept, then.

Well, seems I can keep Petain’s Intercept, then. It depends on how u are playing. I don’t have tactics masters on my infantry at all but I see it’s popular around here to have them on infantry

Well, seems I can keep Petain’s Intercept, then. With intercept, I would only remove it for plain assault or tactics master.

I love two-shooting Hunting Cavalry (Sometimes one-shooting if via Heavy Machine Gunner) with Petain.

It makes u die way way too fast most of the time Nah. Just use healing items.
