Nobunaga Oda , he has definitely always been there, that's why I dont understand why Burnside is so crucial for yall haha. Shafter is already very capable Because the damage doesn’t matter because you failed if one general died. That’s why healing items are incredibly important Well the reason why generals die is that either you depend on them, or they get trapped by an enemy spam. According to your own belief that artillery should be key to wearing down Lee to end enemy reinforcements, I dont see why your infantry general should be in any danger at all

I'd put Grant on the HMG to join the rest in assaulting Lee, with healing items like you said. But the new infantry for reinforcement support does not require healing items

Hmm how is he useful if we follow your strategy? I imagine you refer to how he can help to clear the other fronts so that when Lee is defeated by your main forces you don't have to use your main generals to do the clean-up?

Your inf generals will take a lot of damage and after e.Lee dies a last wave of units will come from the southwest you will need to bodyblock some of the units and your inf generals are best capable of that
