Here in Bavaria it’s the first day the beer gardens are allowed to open again after the lockdown. It’s like spring is starting end of may. How I missed that. We will survive. Cheers, mates! I think it's to early for that, I would at least wait till there is a treatment because a vaccine will take years , looks fun comrade! Got mit uns! It’s still very regulated. Only half of the tables can be occupied. You can’t compare different countries. While Spain and Italy got hit very hard in Germany it’ now looks like government did overreact. We’ll never know. Afterwards it’s easy to say i knew it before.

The corona shutdown f***ed our economy too. Actually we complain about the same issues like the rest of the world for decades. Shrinking middle class, growing poverty, a government too close to big business. The only difference to our neighbours is we drop from a higher level. After many years of an economic high there’s money to push economiy. But big companies like BMW act like parasites. They made massive profit last years. now they ask for help, but pay dividends to shareholders and bonuses to the management at the same time. Profits are privatized, losses are socialized. It’s like a dejavue of the financial crisis.

In America its especially bad because the number of tests is much lower (per capita) than in most other countries. That was one of the main reasons as to why we got screwed over

State governors have had to step up since the president won't. I'm proudly in one of those states with one of those said governors. It seems like when it comes to logic, the president is a foreigner. He and his party don't seem to understand that if they had tackled the virus head on in January, we could've been back to normal by summer. Instead he said many things, such as claiming the virus is the democrats new hoax. It's really embarrassing to be an American right now. I'm just in a way, glad this is all going down right before election in November. Honestly, I knew the president was bad, but I never thought he'd do nothing and let 90,000 Americans die. I apologize if this seems like a political rant. I just want to ensure others that not all Americans are like the president. In fact, we literally hate him (at this point).
