Okay, you expect a guide, but me, alone dont know how to do this good i didnt found some existing guide for this (maybe i am just lazy or what) so the problem is: I know that pushing eastward to the sea is a good idea, but when i take savannah, countless angry strong confederates ruin everything. Is there some good tactics that can finish this clean?

Is there some good tactics that can finish this clean? everyone would say "med-packs and/or healing items!" others would claim "Buy more gens! Spam Burnside and Meade!" Honestly, this is a fiendishly tough mission that if you do only the first of the above, you can scrape by by holding out at Savannah and get a measly 1 star. Honestly, going both sides from the start, east and south, might be the best way to approach things but that is only if you have a decently upgraded Meade to help you. If not then just push east.

I currently give up on these 2 history missions, and am just hoping that the ones in the new update provide medpack-item rewards

I finished it with 3 stars with: fully upgraded McClellan and half upgraded Sheridan on cavlary, Rosecrans and Useless Grant on arty and most important thing, Farregut lvl 4 skills on navy. I don't want to speak about items on generals, everyone have the pistols, tents, and stuff, so that's not an issue. Rush east from the begining, take NE city north of Savannah and you will get your navy. Put Farregut on ironclad and snipe confederate navy one by one. When you destroy first 6 ships, enemy gets double demoralised. Push south to Savannah, spam, light cavlary, knock it out but don't take it, I didn't, don't know if the mission is over when you take it. Leave McClellan, Sheridan and light cavlary next to Savannah, and move down the cost with arty to help your navy kill the rest of the ships. When you kill second group of ships enemy again gets double demoralised. Then finish the job with Savannah and that's it.

Thanks to zabadanov I was able to beat it with the same team as I used in the Gettysburg guide

It’s also a tip to get Meade, why? Because you need to destroy navy cav and infantry is not so useful. Arty and navy are important. “But I can use rosecrans” yes but he doesn’t have a healing item. Meade is probably more useful then McClellan for this mission because after you’ve taken New York, you don’t really need land power, a little bit to take savannah but you can support your attack with faragut so Sheridan will be more then enough

Glad that Meade only costs coins, he will be taking up only 3% of the coins I currently have. But I'm not investing in him if I can find a more lucrative and easier way to farm medpacks haha

I also did not know that on my first few tries and it was a mess. Capturing Savannah makes this mission much easier.

And you can take Savannah before the attack on the second group of ships.

And you can take Savannah before the attack on the second group of ships. I am unsure... in my last tries, when i take savannah, every unit in confederates got angry at me. Do this thing still do even you didnt take savannah?

I personally took Savannah when I crushed the navy, because I didn't know if taking Savannah will end the mission.
