Good against anything but bad mobility. Boroevic fixes that completely. Very dangerous if you put him in one of these. I agree Boroevic have all rough terrain skills he can traverse on all terrain easily. |

My take on HMGs...
Outclassed by Armored Cars as HMGs aren't that beefy compared to Armored Cars.
Able to do good damage against medium cavalry and artillery, but can be shredded by Light Cavalry.
A very limiting population cost of 12 that doesn't change.

 tbh they are really good as they deal tons of damage. I sold and rebought straussenberg (pretty much lost 5 textbooks and all of the silver medals invested into him) to make him into a gatling boi. |

I have Boroevic but still almost never use him because the opportunity cost of fielding him is way too high.

I still think that hmg are a night and day difference when compared to new infantry/lmg. If you don’t use elite units, plain fighting is the way to go. Or just get jungle so you can do both. |
