Hello all. This is my first post on the forum, and it sort of sucks that I have to make this post. My phone glitched out and WC4 asked me to back up my data. I ended up being sucked back in time to the status of my account a month ago. Before the glitch, I had Rommel, a pretty upgraded Konev, and a pretty upgraded Guderian, and I lost all my progress on those generals. I also lost upgrades on Manstein, and all of the tech tree upgrades I made during this time (About two levels across the board). I also lost 3 medals and three wonders, in addition to all the campaign progress I had made. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? I’m pretty stunned right now and I have emailed EasyTech, but no response yet.

You can redeem your in app purchases like Manstein by entering the code given at the time of purchase. If your last back up was before doing all the upgrades mentioned in the post, then you'll have to play with that. |

I’m pretty stunned right now and I have emailed EasyTech, but no response yet. Wc4 has a history of lots of data wipe outs. I have experienced it twice. That's why it's necessary to save your data regularly and create a back up (especially when you do some important progress.) I would still wait for the opinions of other players. I may be wrong (Hopefully I am) Good luck. |

Losing a months worth of progress sucks. Email ET and hope to get a response and start grinding again. Make sure to make plenty of cloud saves (I do it after each daily invasion) so it wont happen again. You should be able to get the progress back relatively soon and if you want to know how to auto-farm gold and tech for technology, ask me.

Sorry for the inconvenience, as you guys said this is a prevalent pain in the game. Badogilo is right, having a habit of utilizing the cloud save function is the best and only way to prepare against such unfortunate circumstances. Disappointing spoiler, and I hate to break the news but ET will not be able, or even willing to, get your progress back as it is hard to prove it, and I know many people (including myself) who have all tried but failed. You should be able to get Manstein back though. |

The bonus is you'll know what you're doing better and make less mistakes the second time around Way faster getting thru all missions too. Sorry about the loss of progress! |

I've experienced this "play data wiped out" bug several times, especially when forcing close the app or losing battery power while playing.
But I've never lost my progress, how?
easy way: save often to cloud
hard way (android only): root, install T*tan*um backup, then save often in that app. Also keep 2-3 other saves as your newer saves might still crash
