Not that much better than a normal militia. Its ability basically doesn’t exist because it will die before it gets stunned. And I think (I haven’t checked) they still have Musket in WW1. Which is horrible.
Garbage.

Ugh. They are even worse than they were in the prequel.

The random damage seems quirky though. When playing Italy Endsieg they are quite useful in facing enemy artillery spams... along with other units that it. On their own, I agree that they are utterly useless

Could maybe be a good unit if their stats were better and their ability stopped them from being demoralized altogether. Better yet, make is so that they can’t be demoralized independent of territory.

It’s worse than that. Their ability prevents them from reaching the LOWEST morale level, meaning being stunned. Now, there’s no campaign mission that involves these, so the only feasible way to get anything out of that abiity is if your capital gets taken (which you should NEVER allow), and get hit by two morale reduction units. That means that it has to survive an onslaught against Heavy Machine Gunners, Breastplate Cavalry, Armored Cars, Field Artillery and WW1 Frigates. Not happening. Those units will kill the Patriotic Army before they land the stun.

Patriotic Militia have worse attributes to Riflemen and are more expensive.
