Oh I wish rout was a cavalry ability like in 1804. It synergized very well with Victory Rush and made the Death Head Hussars pretty powerful. Here it’s lousy. And you should NEVER pick up the tech, the other tech is Marching Bulge which is huge. It’s also really annoying because Redshirts are the only units that Italy has that can reach 15 move with Marching Bulge.

IIRC, this unit is one of those that are stuck with Muskets by 1914. Poor mobility, guns and not special/unique enough, this unit really brought the name of Italy in this game to shame. Just my 1 cent.

Just my 1 cent. It's mobility is pretty good though, but only with Marching Bulge and you can't build it if you have Marching Bulge as Italy. |
