Please help, I need your thoughts about this question. Both are good as is, but artillery expert is one skill that I added to Beseler and I added storm fort to Ivanov. I have both, but they’re equally good in my opinion. You honestly can’t go wrong with either of them. But I have a bias for the German generals, so I would go with Beseler. |

Get Ivanov firstly and give him dogfight. He will be very useful with tactic master , inspiration and dogfighting in campaign. Beseler is better late game and conquest. I use both of them.

If you are asking for a starter general, get Ivanov.
If you're far into the game get Beseler

Ivanov and Beseler are very good generals. I gave Beseler artillery commander so Ivanov can get the bonus. A bit of changing 1 skill is enough to get them some serious guts. Mountains are not everywhere. But when they get they can easily move over. I think Ivanov can perform better against infantry/ cavalry( Units) because he got inspiration and artillery expert. Beseler is good at wrecking cities as he got plain fighting and storm fortifications. You must take both of them. Get Ivanov first, then Beseler. I have Ivanov, Hindenburg and Beseler.

I believe inspiration has to go.Mountain Fighting allows him to cross mountains moee effectively.Either get him aura or Jungle Fighting and he will be fast.Other skills such as dogfight are also ideal |

It’ll make Ivanov mobile and his damage more consistent than inspiration |

If you're not planning to get Hindenburg or putting aura on Beseler,get Ivanov with aura.
