I've found myself desiring a sandbox mode for WC4 and EW6 as they're my two favorite EasyTech games.
I wonder if anyone would be willing to modify either of the two games to basically create a "sandbox mode" where there's no limits to everything and you can do whatever you wanted to. I'm unable to as I have only a school computer that is blocked from downloading anything and a phone that's 2016-spec (LG K8).
What a Sandbox Mode would have:
Infinite resources in-combat (Nations Established cleverly hid this; building anti-aircraft guns would give 9999x of every resource)
Infinite resources HQ (everything except medals; just reduce the price of everything to 1 medal, from generals to skills and attributes); in EW6, rank medals, title medals, textbooks, etc. (same thing with the medals that are used to purchase generals and items - just lower the price of everything to like 1 medal and all upgrades to 1 medal) Skills that go up to a very high level (like level 20 or something)
Generals that go up to a very high level
In-combat veterancy has more than 5 levels - maybe 25 levels will do or something like that; so a long-time survivor is extremely valuable as they dish out so much damage and are hard to kill
Able to declare war on everyone
Optional and may take some time: Able to make allies with everyone
Medical centre (WC4), Market, Industrial Areas, Research Centre (WC4), University (EW6) have very high levels (let's say... level 10)
All units are universal instead of country-limited; as well as this, in EW6, they're unlocked immediately (meaning technology doesn't unlock anything; remove them for standard, universal technologies to avoid bugs/exceptions being thrown)
All generals are unlocked
(I did ask @communist if I could post this and he said "yes")

^ my sentiments exactly, but I dont think ET modding has advanced to such a stage where sandbox (totally new game commands and codes) is a feasible community project. I feel that it is best left to ET's professionals, but then again the problem is that they are lackadaisical about updating these set of games. We probably need very experienced and specialized modders for this project that when successfully completed, will be a hallmark event in ET modding history Note: I dont think this suggestion that ris made is a sandbox specific one, what I imagined is one where players (non-modders) can create their own levels in game. A tall but game-changing task

A tall but game-changing task That wasn't actually what I was thinking of, because of how difficult such a thing would be to implement and how unstable such a feature would be I'm not calling for new game commands and codes (though that'd be cool) I'm calling for just more accurate units and no limits on the current game that are created for the sake of being a game.

Its much more practical to be effected then
