Mr. Beast , happy first post and welcome to the forum! I am slightly surprised you made it past the Cold War campaigns with these upgrades, truly a commendable feat. But you do need to upgrade skills now, I see you have made wise general and skill decisions. You might want to consider placing plain fighting on Konev. Rokossovsky is not a major priority now, since you can substitute him with Messe for the time being. Get those skills upgraded (mainly offensive skills and rumor, no need to upgrade secondary skills like Konev's raider or Rommel's counterattack) and you will be ready to attempt 1980. I recommend a support general as well, one that can be fitted with economic abilities / crowd tactics / rumor / air offense that may be a significant boost to your current roster. Possible support generals are Yamamoto, Dowding, Timoshenko and Arnold, but I personally recommend Arnold (then dowding) since Arnold can fit all 4 criteria nicely.

Once you are done with the tank and air generals, you can buy the best admiral/general in the game:- Me (If you have enough medals to spare,of course) if not, then..... What was that guy's name? Kuz-Kuzne-Kuznetsov yeah, you can buy him too. I think you'll require an extra navy general for the modern wars.

Required if you want to completely beat the game and have a better chance at beating the Modern War, which is ridiculously difficult.

Donitz isnt that necessary for modern war, even for mission 5 (joint declaration) where you can pass it using Nimitz and kuznetsov. But I do agree, without 2 solid navy gens, and a superior daily naval invasions general its hard to fully complete the game

Who should I get first? Donitz or Arnold? Ok first question first. Arnold preferably as he's a great air/support general. Donitz can come in later only if you feel that Nimitz alone is insufficient. For the second query, accepting someone's post means that you feel that their answer is most suitable to their question, and the accepted post will be highlighted at the top of the thread. You can try it if you want!

Hi I just finished all the cold war scenario and onto Modern War. When I tried out the first level, I realized my generals were underpowered. My generals are Guderian, Rommel, Konev, Leeb, Nimitz, and Messe. Only the generals shown under are upgraded while the others only have a green nameplate. Should I get Rokossovsky or upgrade my generals (I have 2500 medals)? If I should upgrade the generals, which ones should I upgrade first? What you need the most is rumors in all generals and blitzkrieg in tank generals. A 2nd navy is not required at least until the 4th mission (the 5th one in not easy with one navy only). As long as you enough rumors on all of your generals, you are all set. I suggest to substituting Rommel's panz leader or blitzkrieg with rumor (although I highly recommend the first). Buy Graziani instead of Rokossovsky if you need an extra tank gen. When you already have enough medals, you can fire Messe and buy Rokossovsky. You can get more medals from completing the conquests. Each scenario's conquests will reward you 800 medals. Also finish all challenges to get higher medal daily invasions, and do exercises and battles for extra medals. You can also finish your scenarios and get a nice 300 medal for each normal scenario and 350 for each hard scenario. Do it all and you will earn medals in no time😁
