Hello, I'm trying to complete a 1914 Conquest with a 1 star country. I've looked at several guides here. However they don't seem to work with the latest update as France and the UK look weaker and can no longer carry the day. With Belgium, bribing Germany, France, UK and surviving is not enough as Russia gets destroyed and the Germans capture Manchester. With Greece I can kill Bulgaria with luck on turn 2 but taking even an undefended Constantinople is impossible because of the ottoman navy which is ahistorically strong. Winning with Greece in 1865 was much easier. I also tried Serbia but it's even worse.
So is there any way to win this conquest with a 1 start country with the last update?

Did you try Belgium. It's easy. You have delay Germans and take France and UK into action by turn 1. After that defend your only city. Germans won't Blitzkrieg through you because they are too dumb to divide their forces to attack Metz. Thereafter, you have to steal cities and grow your economy so you can be functional as a 3 star country. Try again if you fail. It is the easiest 1 star country.

Tribal Union shouldn’t be particularily hard. That's what I feared  . I was trying to win with the Entente. |

Russia, France and UK get destroyed. I think this strategy used to work but not anymore. What! Wait. Did France got destroyed. Then did UK got defeated. Holy crap, it is insane. I need to know in what campaign you play and who are your generals. Next time you play, try to change items of generals in game. In Belgium thing, you must have your best artillery commander on it with best equipment ( I mean only power, no healing ). Then when he gets beaten below 60℅ health, change equipment so he will heal. I think Tribal Union is good, but they have got crap units. But still they are good for spam. Generals with commander skills (aura, both defence and offence) are mandatory. |

I had Ivanov with ambulance+artillery buffs, campaign 4 tech and Petain. I have some good cavalry generals too but I don't really get to use them with Belgium.

There are reinforcements for Germans on the north of the map near GB.To play as Belgium, you have to test your patience.Like a campaign asking you to hold one keypoint until x turns while French and Brits come and save the day(Maybe you can survive and beat them back who knows?)Tribal Union is arguably easier since both of them are not as hard as expected.Just spam militia back and forth between the city |

I have some good cavalry generals too but I don't really get to use them with Belgium. Campaign 4 means you are at a disadvantage in 1914 conquest. I think you are stuck somewhere. Try campaign 1 challenges as they are easy, I don't think the second easy because you need a hell of Navy tech and generals. I did it with David Beatty, Looff and few land generals. Improve your tech by the money and upgrade your generals with the silver medals. I think then you can go British Campaign but to pass it, you must need a good Naval tech. You can do the Conquest, but I don't recommend you to play as Tribal Union in relation to your tech. If you get the attack and health of infantry and artillery, it will be better. With better tech you increase your chances of winning. Do not upgrade population tech unless for Navy. I recommend Mainly to invest in Cava mobility, however you will have to upgrade all your tech ( Attack, defence, mobility, health ) of your all types of units. But don't invest in Forts. |

Can you screenshot and post your tech here?I dont't think so low tech means you're disadvantaged even with good generals.

I dont think that you need to bribe at all.Just survive on your own rather than wasting those money on allies but can't produce a militia per turn |

Italy will take a punch from Austro Ottoman army. Balkans is always not in good health so don't go on donating them. Does Libya and Egypt fight( I can't remember, if so donate Libya). |
