Grenadiers with LMGs are awesome. I don’t know if they make sense historically but it’s so much better than Rifle in this game.

I don't why, but I feel Guard Grenadiers to be excellent in flanking and having a breakthrough, they could easily kill those artillery and encircle them.

It's because the LMG which they use are highly effective against heavy cav and most arty which use medium armour.
