Another idea I am going to play around with is keeping Sophia and the starting heavy artillery on the east coast for a few turns to slap Hessen around (especially that large fort, which is her specialty) while Isabella runs through the southern half of the map to deal with all and sundry and Sakurako does her end run to starve the British out.
