The 2nd stage is so hard. I've read the 2 guides that were here but still couldn't prevail. Do you guys have another solution?
My Generals are
NobunagaL4, AlexanderL4, BarbossaL3, CleoL4. I'm thinking of using archers instead of cavalry here because of the tercio but i have a Saladin ready to age up if i'm going to use him in this round.

I'm not using any Cavalry becuase of the Tercios |

poru, yes because he is a purple general and is a powerful Calvary general.

No, you upgrade his army to 4 stars or 5 stars by playing easy battles to make his experience go up

You'll find with this game that you will encounter several sticking points like this. Sometimes you just have to concentrate on other areas like Empire or Conquest mode until you have what it takes to break through them, and that can be any one or combination of the following: a new general; upgrading existing general(s); piece(s) of kit; the perfect strategic & tactical approach; luck with buffs/debuffs.
On the bright side everything becomes possible eventually as long as you do the daily missions for free medals, and after a while the campaigns that you scraped through for 1* you can go back and easily get 3*. I did this particular one yesterday easily with Spartacus, Barbarossa, Joan, Xerxes, Peter & Li Shimin (spoiler alert: all are fully upgraded and kitted out).
Patience is the quality most required to complete EW5.
As for the Tercios Saladin might be useful as Cav > Inf > Arch > Cav. Arty > buildings but Alex isn't a bad fort cracker either iirc.
