As with Germany, I decided to make a guide with images for Italy 1939.
No generals used. Tech is maxed, so anyone not maxed in tech will probably want to use their generals.
Starting off as Italy, there are three areas of attack. I will go through them one by one.
TURN 1
Area one: mainland Italy. The howitzer on the right I moved north one tile, hit the unnamed Yugoslavian city. The howitzer on the left, I moved to join in the attack.
The cruiser in our port will move northwest two tiles to hit the French island. After that, Graziani will hit the island, and if your lucky enough you should be able to hit the unit again and kill it. The infantry on the Italian island will move north one tile, and capture the other island on the next turn.
The howitzer on Palermo will move one tile southwest, and move to attack cities in Africa.
Area two: Italian territory (Libya). The units around Tripoli will move northwest and join with the howitzer general coming to Africa to attack Algiers.
The howitzer general by the bunker and the infantry unit north of it will attack to the southwest. The units near Egypt will defend that side for now.
Area three: move the general along with the nearby infantry unit north to the British city to attack. Since I primarily was dealing with infantry units in Africa, I built a couple triple stacked armored cars in Addis Ababa. Drop a single infantry unit after capturing a city.
The starting two destroyers and one cruiser will move to seize the Egyptian port and kill Egypt's naval units.
TURN 5
Area one: After taking the French island, I moved Graziani to join the two howitzers in attacking the Yugoslavian city. Keep an eye on other cities, if it has a wounded unit or none at all, paratroop it. After defeating Yugoslavia, I moved the howitzers to attack Soviet destroyers, and attempted to hit Greece, but got blocked by the light tank.
I moved Graziani back to attack France, and paratroop cities if necessary. I also built a military academy and began pumping out triple stacked heavy tanks in Rome. I sent five northeast to assist Germany, as they were starting to lose ground at this point. Specifically sent two to Donetsk and the other three up north. I sent two northwest to assist Graziani in France.
The cruiser I moved to capture the French port and attack Marseille. The starting medium tank in Naples assisted him.
Area two/three: Taking Africa should be easy, with three howitzer generals and a field artillery general. In addition to armored cars, I built a couple quad stacked assault infantry in Addis Ababa. They'll defend cities and can be used to capture as well. I also waited to attack Egypt until France and England were removed from Africa.
TURN 15
Area one: With France gone out of Europe, I move Graziani and assisting units to capture a port. This part is critical as it will make conquering Great Britain easier. As soon as I capture the port, I began pumping out double stacked cruisers, moving them into position to attack London. This includes London's port, so if you can grab it, do so. I think I made four or five cruisers, three to attack cities, other two to deal with enemy units in the water and coastal artillery.
I moved the cruiser with the general out of the port by Marseille, he will go to attack Greece. The two howitzers will assist him.
Area two: Africa is conquered, including Jerusalem to the northeast. The three howitzers would attack the British destroyers south of Africa.
The field artillery, the armored cars or infantry units and the cruiser that assisted in the Egyptian port will move to attack the British cities near Saudi Arabia. Attack with the cruiser first, then the field artillery. The infantry/armored cars will take the city, or you can opt to paratroop the city.
TURN 25
Area one: As London's hp goes down I move Graziani and assisting units into the water to cross. The coastal artillery should be gone for their landfall.
Heavy tanks in the north I used to attack enemy units first, then work on cities, including Moscow. Be sure to grab Moscow before your allies do. From here, feel free to use fighters, strategic bombers and paratroopers to speed up the conquest, as you should be accumulating money now.
The two howitzers in the south I moved to attack Stalingrad. A heavy tank assisted once it got there.
Area two: British territory near Saudi Arabia is mine. It's on to India. I used my cruiser to take the Indian port, than next turn replaced it with a double stacked destroyer. I built a few there and began pounding the city. I built a double stacked destroyer to protect the port to the west as well. My armored cars and field artillery will cross the water into India and assist in the attack. If it takes more than seven turns to capture it, just use fighters and paratroop it. That's what I ended up doing.
TURN 35
Area one: After taking Great Britain, I moved Graziani and assisting units into the water to Canada, with my cruisers ahead killing off any enemy units. I focused on the Canadian port and coastal artillery. After that I moved them south to eliminate US defenses. Once I got closer, I had a welcoming party, which included general Patton. I still was able to make landfall though as Patton was more concerned with my cruiser than Graziani.
Area two: My income was good enough that I began using fighters/bombers to sprinkle my paratroopers across the Philippines. I took Manila and it's port, I immediately built a double stacked cruiser as an escort for the triple stacked medium I built there. I built another triple stacked medium to guard the city while those two units will head to Midway. If your tech is good enough you should be able to use fighters on Hawaii from Midway. Defend well in the Philippines because Australia began spamming me after I sprinkled paratrooers.
My field artillery and assisting units moved north to attack New Delhi, than moved east to the unnamed city and north into ROC. At this point I was using fighters and paratroopers but at the same time trying to conserve my resources for a swift attack on the US and Canada.
TURN 44
Swift attack it was. Everything taken in four turns. All that was left was India, which had Thailand and the city west, as well as two ports. Those were taken on the next turn.
TURN 45
