When you have GCR identically on two devices both will receive different daily missions. The number of included Drills and their requirements are variable, too. Choose the better selection, make a cloud save and load it to the other device.
edit: even with only one device you have a second chance for better daily missions. Always save before the missions arrive. They come in a 12hour cycle. Every reload will change the number or quality of drills.

Finally, with Town Hall lvl VIII, I get 10 missions every 12 hour. I reload until one of my devices makes at least 25 medals and start them. The other device reloads again and again, hoping to earn even more. 25 is the minimum you should accept, 30 is a good result, more than 35 is possible but rare.
Keep in mind you need to start the first missions early enough to do all before the next 12h circle starts, because then all unstarted jobs are lost.

The best missions, for only 2 generals, are worth 5 medals, but the required number of capability points is sometimes hard to meet. Often only gold tiers or IAPs have enough capabilities beside their designated role.
In late game, when your gold has reached 99999, you can also afford to use a general as a joker. Reset his capabilities to what you need for a sophisticated mission. With 10 mission per round you’ll earn enough gold to reach 99999 again before the next circle.
You need 99999 gold to earn medals with every watched ad video. So do a necessary capability reset AFTER you watched the videos.

The best missions, for only 2 generals, are worth 5 medals, but the required number of capability points is sometimes hard to meet. Often only gold tiers or IAPs have enough capabilities beside their designated role. In late game, when your gold has reached 99999, you can also afford to use a general as a joker. If I had known this sooner i wouldn't have spent my gold on useless equipment in order to "not waste gold". Also, with only 8 missions per day I go for 19-20 medals which will add up to
19-20 twice a day for senate missions 3*12 from ad videos =75 medals per day

I also didn’t know this at the beginning, though it’s explained in the GCR manual: The upper limit for gold coins for lower Senat levels (and therefor secure medals income from ads) is even less. level 1-10 is 29999, level 11-20 is 59999, level 20-30 is 99999. but you need a lot of gold for upgrading the Senat buildings and unit training. So if you want to progress in campaigns you can’t just safe all gold until late midgame. |

I agree the GCR manual turned out to be very useful once I had a basic understanding of the game
There is also a (time intensive) way of making sure you get all the ad medals:
-cloud save
-watch ad
-if you get 12 medals cloud save; if you get 1500 gold then load the cloud save
-repeat until you got 3*12 medals
Since easytech claims that both results have the same probability (50% each I suppose) this shouldn't take too many reloads
