That is a very good point. However I haven't faced a terrorist general yet so I'll take your word they are hard to deal with. I'll also have to focus on upgrading Guderian after I've bought a second navy gen. Any recomendation? I'm thinking Nimitz or Donitz. I also want to get Yamamoto to put him on aircraft carriers. Also, subs can't do damage to Terror generals. So I would recommend using dontiz on a battleship or aircraft carrier. ^ Kotick and Coulson would like to remind you of their deadly presence... To be honest battleships arent that useful at surviving 1980, since they take heavy counterattack damage from everything the Terrorists have except for their elite infantry. Submarines are better at taking out those dangerous rocket cruiser spams, especially with Donitz's wolfpack.

I believe we have the same technology as the terrorists, judging from air/missile strikes, just that the terrorists have special units

A realistic answer would be: Depends on your income. In real life. And whether or not you think ET is worth giving money to.

Guderian is the best non-IAP, and he can be considered more efficient than Manstein too. When fully upgraded, Guderian can deal equal if not slightly less damage than Manstein, but his largest selling point is that he has rumor and can easily take down a terrorist general all on his own. For ur naval gen, I would suggest Nimitz because he's cheap but Donitz is the superior one in the end.

Tbh the only downside I see to purchasing a general is that he has all skill slots filled. I'd find it much more worth the money if his skills were customizable

Definitely, then Zhukov would dominate the battle field with rumor.

and most importantly their insane stats in movement and/or air xD Especially! I wish they did the same on wc3 as well. Then I can turn Arnold into a air destroying zhukov.

Only if this was Manstein. There's probably two reasons why ET won't let us buy terrorist generals 1. They think we're poor 2. Money can't buy you a general this good

Money can't buy you a general this good No, it's because they're trying to make the game unbalanced and super-hard. Also, our technology level is only suitable for cold war, so this also makes it harder and sound even more impossible. So when we complete modern war we get an ego boost of being a 'conqueror of the impossible', but not really because we have generals with rumor.
