Maybe even wolfpack! Now that's a novel combination I would try in a mod I would add Fleet Leader and Rumor to Yamamoto. Time make Arnold a air battling zhukov. |

Picking up on this thread, with new upgrades with new arty gens for f2p I'd say get arty gens in this order:
1. Konev (discount)
2. Brooke/Leeb
3. Leeb/Brooke
4. Nenonen
5. Zhang
I see a lot of discussion about using air gens for arty, but my list is only based on pure arty.

Where do rank Brauchitsch? I would go even with zhang, but not better then neomen, because the missing Mobility.

And if considered hybrid Air,then even Rundstedt would outmatch him in Arty/Air hybridization.
Even Rommel is better on artillery than Arnold and Govorov.
smh.
Arnold has one star in Artillery, and six in Air...and none of his base skills work on artillery except rumor.
My opinion on f2p Arty ranks are Konev, closely followed by Brooke, and 3rd Leeb.

Where do rank Brauchitsch? I would go even with zhang, but not better then neomen, because the missing Mobility. Neonen has basically 3 useful skills in total (most likely AL, Accuracy and Explosives/Rumor). Artillery barrage is a bad skill. Brauchitsch has 3 useful skills (AL, Accuracy and Inspiration) and 1 situational skill that can be reinforced with a medal. So, when placed properly he is better than Neonen, in my opinion. One serious disadvantage though is that he can't have Rumor without compromising his damage. Yet, not necessarily all of our Artillery generals should have Rumor. I think to have it on Konev, Brooke and Leeb is enough. |
