SolidLight , I would be careful about upgrading tech, though. Because making it too high can result in the History Mode missions being hellish. Ok, what's the alternative though? leave your tech at a low level and put up with terrible stats for campaign and conquest? I don't think I could do that. TBH it's working pretty well so far. I have just reached Chapter 4 using only mobility upgrades. After beating a level becomes impossible, I will beat as many History Mode and Challenge Conquests as possible.

Of course, if History Mode and Challenge Conquestes weren't the definition of unfairness, I wouldn't do this.

If I seem aggressive in the way I speak/write, then that's on me. Sorry. If you mean aggressive in playstyle, well, that's also just me. I like playing fast. It's no fun being bogged down in a slugfest and often requires some fun strats to play fast.

I rather fight a long war to drain the AI and then go to the killing blow when the time is right.

Get MacMahon -> Beat the civil war campaign -> get Vazov (and optional, Putnik) and then 1. Ivanov 2. Straussenberg 3. Besseler in that order. Who's Straussenburg? Do you mean Straubenburg?
