pleasehelpme, first do the Nimitz discount which is way more manageable than the Rommel one and get Nimitz while selling Fletchers. Then get Graziani and add rumor to him so that you can complete Rommel 40%. Then you can get Rommel, Leeb, and others.

If you decide to take Sun's advice, then sure you may get Graziani first to help you get Rommel. Again, do know that Rommel's 40% can be done with only Guderian + Vatutin as tankers I didn't upgrade my generals (except giving them lv2 rumors) before beating Rommel's mission. Besides in the end I would still buy Graziani anyways.

I got my revenge on Alexander for wrecking all my tanks the first time I attempted this mission but with the help of rumor I made him go stupid and the same thing happened to Montgomery, it was actually much easier than expected because I thought I would lose most of my units but ended up only losing a double stacked heavy tank and a triple stacked medium tank. I never realized how important rumor was until now and it has helped me a lot, looks like it was not a waste of medals after all. Thanks for your advice on equipping my generals with rumor because it has made life much easier for me when I can just make the strongest generals in the game fall into chaos.

Nice, and please note, those British guys are nothing compared to the modern war generals and their superior units. Ideally rumor must be equipped in all of your generals so they can hold as many front lines with as few generals as posible.

^nah, pleasehelpme you did well overcoming this tough beginner's hurdle! Normally when players can pass Rommel's 40%, they are all clear to reach the endgame in a few months, which is a significant milestone for your journey. You should focus on upgrades now, especially as Sun said for rumor.

You are so right, I just beat the final scenario mission for 1950 WTO which is the Red storm in 1 try and all I have left are 3 more NATO scenario missions for 1950 before I unlock 1980 modern war.

With Guderian, Konev, and Rommel, you'll be unstoppable . At least until UN4. And also... Hudson Bay. But those can usually be beat just by grinding for upgrades.

I was just saying those 3 will get you pretty far. Yes you would need other gens for Hudson (duh) but infantry and other upgrades aren't necessary. Oof this is getting confusing

This^^ one and NATO 6 are infamous classics. Back to grinding. With 3 tank gens and 2 arty, they should be sufficient to clear up the last remaining Europe Hard missions. Try to work on the Pacific Hard Scenarios next. I suggest focusing in atk skills like Armoured Assault and Accuracy if they are not at lvl 5, followed by lvl 5 Rumour. After doing this^^, you can follow the guides in the Way of the Emperor and sweep through the eastern seaboard. By the way, good job on clearing this Scenario. In term of the CWE series on Normal, this is probably the 2nd toughest or toughest Scenario.

Plan your attack, don't disperse too much, use rumors well, and you'll pass the mission with ease.

Hindsight bias; it is okay for beginners to find it difficult. Plus Red Strom has so many enemy units that it can be daunting for players who are encountering the mission for the very first time. It will take some tries to work out the best strategy, without consulting any guides.
Nevertheless, if you have sufficient gens, upgrades and technology, then with the right approach this can be done. Not easily without maxed tech and gens, but still doable.
