I would recommend a 3* Business General or higher. Actually you need a level 5 business General to get the same medals back as buying a item. Yes! You need a 5βtrader. Actually this is another reason why Arnold is such a great starter general. You can buy early +1 and +2 items and if you get the chance to buy better ones, you can upgrade without any loss of medals. I bring the Items back to the shop where I bought them. If I need urgent medals I sell the item there and buy it later back. The items from the shop cost always the maximum. But you can get items, that you can buy in the campaign only later on. In the end I could buy two snare drums in the shop.

I started this thread because I was amazed to see three snair drums - I thought the game has only two. Now I know: You can buy even four without any tricks. I can't play much at the moment - I'm really curious to see the shop which offers normally the second snair in America.

I think ET changed it in new update, at least 1 year ago, you can only get 2 snare drums in entire game. Just like ET increase the limit of items in EW6

I think ET changed it in new update, at least 1 year ago, you can only get 2 snare drums in entire game. Just like ET increase the limit of items in EW6 I know that you only can buy two snair in the campaign. On my first play I never found a third snair in the daily shop. Now on my second play (same installation and before ad-update lately) I got after 2 or 3 days, I just had bought my first snair in Danzig, the offer in the daily shop to buy two! snairs, but sadly no chance to buy even one. At the moment I can't play much, but I log in at least once a day to get the ad-premies. During little more than one month I could buy three!! additional snairs in the daily shop. To have three snairs was already super - four unbelievable. And I haven't started HRE! Thank you Nobunaga Oda, for sure I have the Item's stats and locations . It is one of the most important references of this game ( I don't want to imagine a playing without the help of the ETFC) - I'm really curious if the shop in Charlotte still has another one - until yesterday I thought no more snair in Charlotte, I have it already... My posts in this thread are full of: I thought, but...

Just to complete:
Just 4 snair drums I am very happy
The shop in Charlotte in the HRE north American landing mission didn't offer one.
Shop and Campaign-Items are the same.
Today I bought in the campaign an Item that was offered in the shop, and it disappeared from the shop after I bought it in the campaign

This however doesn't work for medkits becuase, they are needed greatly by the player. It could be that they only sell 4 of the same item. When I went into the Items.Xml it showed 4 of each item and the only way to get another one is to copy the code of that item.

So basic Info's for Items: - Most Items exist 4 times - a few, not so important ones 5 times.
- You can buy an item in the daily-shop, long before you arrive in campaign to get it
- Selling an Item brings it back to the store where it is from. just tested
- The daily-shop sells some extra items that are not from the campaign (3rd and 4th snair,Nap Code,On War etc ... and the 4th potent gunpowder, 4th pistol...)
- You don't know which item (from which campaign shop or a shop extra) you get offered by the shop.
Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? I believe you have everything Correct. Just prices remain the same on each item where ever you buy from shop or campaign. Also 6 star trade generals give medals back.

What happens if all of your slots are full? Are you prevented from buying more Items?

What happens if all of your slots are full? Are you prevented from buying more Items? Yes, if all of your item slots are full you can't buy anymore unless you sell one of your items.

Thank you Darth Vader and littlecorporal, I added this to the list: Items:- Every general has 2 slots for items. You have an additional global rack with 22 free slots for items and 6 slots for consumable (stackable) items
- The first 6 global rack slots are for 'consumable' Items: Stars, Alcohol, Medikits. These slots are reserved - consumable items are stackable (you can have more than one) Up to V1.4.20 there is a limit of 9 for alcohol and medipacks - there is no limit for stars! (>100)
- If your rack is full (22), you can't buy an additional item.
- Most Items exist 4 times - a few, not so important ones, 5 times.
- You can buy an item in the daily-shop, long before you arrive in campaign to get it.
- Selling an Item brings it back to the store where it is from. tested

I believe that you are missing that you can only have a maximum of 9 consumables for each Item.

I believe that you are missing that you can only have a maximum of 9 consumables for each Item. Thank you so much for your helping Darth Vader ! Thanks to your note we have new insights: Until V1.4.20 there is a limit of 9 for medipacks - V1.4.24 supports more than 20 (ΒΏ99?) medipacks. I read in an old post something about a limit of 99β - even this limit doesn't exist anymore (V1.4.20)
