I believe that you are missing that you can only have a maximum of 9 consumables for each Item. Thank you so much for your helping Darth Vader ! Thanks to your note we have new insights: Until V1.4.20 there is a limit of 9 for medipacks - V1.4.24 supports more than 20 (ΒΏ99?) medipacks. I read in an old post something about a limit of 99β - even this limit doesn't exist anymore (V1.4.20) In Ew6 you can have a maximum of 99 of each item. In Ew4 becuase you can buy items from Campaigns they only made it 9. Maybe I can search Napoleonic War 1.0 and download it. Then I will mod it and see if it will work. I don't believe it would work though because why get rid of something was so cool.

I'm playing the actual EW4 - V1.4.24 from the gxxxe store - this version has not a limit for 99β neither a limit of 9 for other consumable items - Big medipacks I couldn't check - small and medium I have more than 10 - alcohol I had more than 30. This is a change - probably ET changed also the appearance for snair drums - who knows?

Maybe Easytech will change one day for modding but that is unlikely.

My updated EW4 V1.4.24 (EN) and the EW4 V1.6.4(CN) are not encrypted.

Before we go OT - let's update the info - more discussion in a new thread
Thank you Darth Vader and littlecorporal, I added this to the list: Items:- Every general has 2 slots for items. You have an additional global rack with 22 free slots for items and 6 slots for consumable (stackable) items
- The first 6 global rack slots are for 'consumable' Items: Stars, Alcohol, Medikits. These slots are reserved - consumable items are stackable (you can have more than one) Up to V1.4.20 there is a limit of 9 for alcohol and medipacks - there is no limit for stars! (>100)
- If your rack is full (22), you can't buy an additional item.
- Most Items exist 4 times - a few, not so important ones, 5 times.
- You can buy an item in the daily-shop, long before you arrive in campaign to get it.
- Selling an Item brings it back to the store where it is from. tested
- The daily-shop sells some extra items that are not from the campaign (3rd and 4th snair,Nap Code,On War etc ... and the 4th +6ATK items: potent gunpowder, pistol...)
- You don't know which item (from which campaign shop or a shop extra one) you get offered by the daily-shop.
Am I missing something?

I believe you got everything right, you should make a theard for consumables so it can be seen by everyone!

I hope you dont mind sohpiasimp that I tag You here. One War Horse and Snair Drums are in my view the most important items: When a unit looses health, they need every dammage point they can deal. Continuing with high dammage dealing, the next cheveron will recover some health. For my offensive cavalary, I use snairs from R3 or R4 on, only after they got the last cheveron health can become a problem, missions are usually done before.

Obviously being able to give a general mass fire through the drum makes sense, because like you said, you need them to operte at low health, but why is geography as important? Also: feel free to tag me, I like it here

For artillery and cavalary is the war horse important to move: Moving in one flat hex costs 3 movement. But without geography, moving in a hex with trees costs 4 or 5, hills, mountains even 5 and 6 movement. Only with the War horse can Sophia really profit from her movement stars. The combination of [ Unit + General + Move Item + War Horse ] has optimal 9,12 or 15 movement, so you can move 3,4 or 5 hex; regardless the terrain, like Isabella.

The stars are only REALLY important when you have geography, fascinating. I have given Maria the Tall Boots, and she can move 4 hexs now on Light infantry. Very powerful for escaping bad situations.
