Meta Runner

I will wait for a few more replies that are ON TOPIC or as close to it as possible, then I think i will lift the spoiler ban imposed at the beginning of this thread. I would have liked a bit more activity, to be honest, but I guess it is not just my thread, but most of this section on EFC being not as active as it used to in the past (I am sorry for that).

To be honest, I would prefer not to explain the whole thing. There is very much I could talk about, and I would rather let you have the surprise. I have presented the official description from the Meta Runner wiki in the start of the thread, as I have also linked the whole season. But of you want a standalone thing, just check either the first video from this page 2 of the thread (it is very good because it sets up a bit the atmosphere and some of the characters, without spoiling anything), or this playlist from SMG4 with extra videos. the whole season came perfectly in my Recommendations list on Youtube as I already started watching SMG4, and since I wanted something to cheer me up during these harsh times, I found it as a great source of entertainment. All I can say is that the ending has been quite dramatic, leaving everything on a cliffhanger, and makes you want to see more.

Most of the reasons why I love this series has already been exposed at the beginning of the thread (just read carefully that wall of text - sorry for that), but here are some of the reason taken again. As for the whole, I really enjoyed it thanks to the plot, the interesting setting (a kind of cyberpunk future where video games occupy a very important role in the day by day life, and the location, Silica City, is known as the capital of video games), and the characters, especially Tari. I was already used to rather comical and caricature version of her from the Mario bloopers, but in Meta Runner she still keeps most of the traits, even if now she is bit more grounded and serious, something that I really like. But I should better let you explore further, and not ruin the surprise.




Also, very cute and sympathetic, though this may be just my opinion. 

Sorry for the late reply, but that image of part of the official promo for Meta Runner, made by GlitchProductios. Just like the whole show, it was most probably made in the Unreal Engine. That's quite a huge step from the classic Mario 64 + Garry's Mod animations SMG4 used to and still delights us with every week.
It's nice to we that the series got some serious backing, among the supporters counting AMD, Epic Games, the guys who made the Unreal Engine and even the Australian Government.

Darth Vader, I have absolutely no idea. All I know is that they are involved, and added into the credits at the end every episode, together with every other sponsor.

Darth Vader, sounds great. Maybe you could try the short I uploaded at the beginning of this page, just to get used with the tone and character, without spoiling anything from the big story.
Also, we should be grateful that the series is on the free YouTube. I say this because ever since YouTube Premium has been released, many web original series have been moved or are exclusive to the Premium platform. But I need to give all the respect to Luke and Kevin Lerdwichagul (the creators of this series) for deciding to release t on the free version of the platform, even saying in one of the videos before the release that they decided for the free version of YouTube because they have a story they wish to tell, and hoped that as many people as possible could actually experience it.
