Sorry but, I need to be tagged or may not find your posts. Has anyone answered your question? I think not get but i think i found it by Stage Setting sin json To be honest I am merely a Json editor than a actual modder. Stage settings should be it but, editing individual maps would in assets. You need a hex editor for Modding missions. My best advice is to just edit the campaigns and not create new ones. If you already know how to copy new campaigns then be my guest and continue. What mod theme have you come up with?

Your face as the map of the game. It sounds very fun to me.

I'm gonna share a google drive file that includes all the asset folders of WC4 so people won't have to spend time extracting them from the unlock APK. It's ... wow it's a big file though, probably 40 mb or so

A guide with a short info about the assets-structure and what is where will be a nice help I think.

I think uploading the files to google drive will benefit people who edit .btl files the most, since it isn't very easy to edit them on a device without hex-editing software. Or maybe images will be accessed more easily.

If you don't have a Hex-Editor (NMM for Android - free) you can edit binary files even with your editor. The terminal command xxd converts a binary file to a, hex-editor-like text file, that you can edit with any text editor. xxd -r will convert this text-file back to binary. You need to understand a bit the CLI. NMM: External command to save <filename>.hex and convert to binary as <filename>.bin :
xxd -r "${NMM_PATH}" > "${NMM_PATHNOEXT}.bin"

I THINK there's a way to edit .btl files without software on Google, but as of now I haven't found any ways yet. There are of course apps that you can use on a phone, or an online hex-editor that doesn't require any downloads. I'll probably also explain the BTL guide that was posted on here a few years ago, since that one requires a video tutorial and most people aren't familiar with the format.
