you think it's a good idea to replace beaty's navy commander for escort? hipper already has his navy commander maxed so beaty's navy commander has no effect. i think im finding naval missions difficult because my navy dies too fast so maybe escort will help

Its a useful skill to have; especially when you are bunching ships together to take out stronger enemy naval generals |

It’s way less useful than in 1804 due to it not stacking and the base defense being usually lower than the base attack. But having more defense is never a bad thing and there’s not a ton of damage skills for navy to choose from (there’s no terrain and sailor doesn’t work). So it’s pretty handy.

i feel it will be really useful because the aura will benefit all the ships and ships are usually next to each other. although the base defence is low, every ship will get a boost in defence. not as useful as navy commander but still good tbh. some of the challenge naval missions are really hard so i will need every help i can get.
