Is Hipper/Beaty needed for the Marine Overlords campaign or should I stick to buying more land gen? Land gens, but if you already have sufficient of em, then you can spare your medals for Beatty (less skill changes)

Is Hipper/Beaty needed for the Marine Overlords campaign or should I stick to buying more land gen? you only really need 3 arty gens, 3 cav gens and 1 or 2 inf gens. after u have ur 3 arty and 3 cav (molke and jackson are free), just buy hipper and beaty. you will need both if you want to do campaign challenges. you will get lots of medals from campaign and conquest so you can buy as many generals as you want after you buy your navy gens. after i got beaty, i stopped buying more generals and i spent my medals buying books because i was not patient to grind them from campaign challenges.

I got by just using the free naval gens from the previous campaigns and high BA land gens What's BA tho I think he means Ability of General (Battle Ability). The generals total ability is a sum of non specific ability and unit type specific ability like cavalry. E.g. Stonewall has BA 122; put him on Battleship and his attack stat increases +30% But on cavalry his ability is 122+75 and increases +48%.

I got by just using the free naval gens from the previous campaigns and high BA land gens What's BA tho The generals’s default damage bonus, the one that any units he is commanding receive, regardless of type. If the unit matches his type it will also get the “Special Ability” bônus (Infantry Ability, Cavalry Ability etc)

BA is Battle ability, (what the general has in stats without adding their unit type) ex: Jackson on a battleship does around 117 damage for me.
