is it even worth it to try to get the rewards from history if you completed campaign and conquest challenges? idk how useful the princess items are for the completion of this game

Or was it someone else Basically some princess items can help you produce units at a much cheaper price, which helps in defending against the massive enemy spam in conquest challenges, especially in 1914/1917

is it worth buying generals just for history mode tho? so im thinking of buying another cav gen, johnson is slighty better and cheaper than stepanovic but stepanovic can be used for history mode.
can you name all the generals that are needed for history mode? and which battles i should do

Try starting from civil war, then prussia, then cuba. Afterwards, Russo-Japanese War and Russian Revolution are doable. The rest are pretty tough, and you should attempt them later (try 2nd balkan war and the battle of jutland first before attempting those i didnt mention)

so if i already have my best group of generals that i use for campaign, i shouldn't buy any more generals that i can't use for history mode? like johnston. im thinking of getting 1 more cav gen for conquest challenge and prob another inf gen (straussenberg)

As I’ve said before. The medal economy is extremely lenient in this game compared to other ET games because gold is used for most upgrades. So no issue getting a few extra people for history mode. Just do it later.

Its like fighting against lvl 30 rats like in Oblivion. Each progress in training feels worthless to me. The same goes for challenge conquest. In all easytech games I realy miss a motivating endgame content. Like a new game+ or an infinite lvling for your generals (e.g. 15 grey medals for a king titel +2 and so on).

challenge conquests are still doable tho if you max all your generals and give them the best items. history is harder because you cant use your best generals

also can you still get silver medals and books from levels you've already completed? Possibloe, except that you will only receive either one silver medal or one textbook

Start it after you have a good roster. By doing this, you will be able to go out of your way and buy usually non-optimal generals that are very useful for these missions. Like SolidLight said, don’t worry about resources since the game is super-generous when it comes to resources. You will definitely have more than enough for a solid team to get you through these missions. Don’t do skill swaps unless absolutely necessary (Can change a general from meh to extremely useful in 1-2 swaps, and there is no solid replacement available)
