That’s great! But i think i will try it using more medpacks and less textbook cause i’m lacking them. But it’s correct to say that this same generals are available for another history, so maybe invest textbook to at least joffre and macmahon is better. We can farm textbook with ads every day and sometime as reward for the easiest history ever (austro-prussia war). While medpacks are still farmable and costs less medals in the shop, but I don’t know if there is an history to farm them (and ofc isn’t that easy as A-P) and they aren’t for ever. Maybe the best economical strategy is to do a mix. Many textbook invested and some medpacks (40? 80?) to don’t waste other 60 textbooks
I think Cuban War is easier than A-P because you only need MacArthur. He only costs coins and you don't have to max him.
I got a medpack once with Isonzo. Most of the times, it's either silver medal or book and sometimes nothing.
I attempted Verdun after completing all campaigns so I have the luxury to swap out all the useless skills. But I think it's not necessay as I got a 3 stars the first time without deploying Esperey.

Another great guide, LuffyNot triggering the reinforcements and holding the city with cheaper old guards worked two times and each without medpacks. And for the question as to how much books are needed: I put Jungle fighting and Precision strike on Joffre for a minimum of mobility and damage, the rest of the crew kept all their original skills (title maxed) and Esperey became an artillery general with 120 battle ability. So 15 books (with the next best option being Inf commander on Macmahon if things don't work out)
