How to use Imgbb (photo uploader)

I started my guide with the notice that with the WYSIWYG-Editor from the desktop page Imgbb is advised to use - nice that you made a guide for the desktop - mine was explicit for mobile use.

Two notes: The board is not a UBB (proboard) it supports most of the BBCodes and uses the same brackets. But this board has much more to offer, it uses a more HTML-like coding allows styles etc.

When you quote for example a post with the BBCode for images:

[img]https://ibb.co/Snr6DpHy/example.png[/img]


The board automatically changes this code to

[img src="https://ibb.co/Snr6DpHy/example.png"]


The 2nd (HTML syntax) form allows also many more features, I only use this.

One strange bug I encountered Saltin:

The BBCode for Links to the site postimg.cc

[url=https://pøstimg.cc/] Link [/url]

Will be destroyed when you save the post!
It is saved only a part - this is the reason for many textartefacts around images here in the forum.
The board saves only this part:

.cc/] Link [/url]

.cc/[/url]

Both solutions work fine!

The desktop integration is comfortable - and you even can post pictures with the mobile interface - nice.

The bug I explained in my last post can cause irritation. (For me it did)

I have such a small phone that I am extreme happy with the mobile version. Sometimes I switch to the desktop version but its not useful for me - so I'm quickly back in mobile.

www.image-share.com/ is another classic free Image hoster.

Do you never have the problem that during scrolling with the fingers you touch an picture and a link opens?
I already see the picture inside the post - annoying to open another page to see the same picture.

Click baiting - annoying - just costs time and traffic - My posts contain only images - If I quote someone post I also remove this links.
