I am so stuck on this mission and its actually annoying me a lot now, I am able to take the first two targets and then my weak troops are annihilated by the super artillery Monty and land forts Upgrade your tech tree for 80% no retaliation and 100% no retaliation for howitzers and RA respectively. Upgrade your tank HP and def stats for greater survivability. Slowly grind Daily Invasions to upgrade Guderian's skills to max lvl like what Mr. Beast suggested. And if your gens have Rumour, get them to lvl 5 as well.
I'm not sure if this is in the existing guide, but send 1 super tank and/or one 3X heavy tank to steal the southernmost target city for the resources. Watch what the enemy aircrafts attack and lure the enemy aircraft to attack your starting city if possible, to minimise dmg taken by your tanks. Try to spawn a light inf in the city to do so.

i have guderian messe konev and leeb with the first 3 with rumour now. also have cold war tech so it should be easier If you're daring enough, invest in your 2nd/3rd endgame tank gen before you challenge Rommel 40% again. 3 tanks is better than 2. I recommend Rokossovsky. You may also consider an up and coming favourite of newer members - Graziani. Now with nimitz 40% I need rommel 40%. I have nimitz guderian vatutin leeb konev. Do ı stand a chance? I dont think casulties mean anything and Im ready to lose all of my super and heavy tank divisions.

I think you can beat this level without losing anything. I think I may have lost one heavy tank or a super tank or something like that in this playthrough. The important thing for me was to spawn a double-stacked rocket artillery first turn and put Konev on it, and make sure your generals' rumour connects with each enemy general. Don't even go for the troops surrounding Montgomery's city before clearing out the top and bottom, but once you finish those cities, destroy all enemies close to Montgomery so you can flank him.

Rip me. I already placed all my generals on the starting units and beated the level.

Also when I was playing this Guderian's blitzkrieg was only level 3 I think so he wasn't super great yet.

But Rokossovsky is very expensive. Would Graziani be an equivalent and cheaper option?

But Rokossovsky is very expensive. Would Graziani be an equivalent and cheaper option? If you can use Graziani well, go for him. I still prefer and recommend Rokossovsky. Anyways, everything comes at a price. If you want quality, you have no choice, but to save up and invest a lot. I recommend that players avoid cutting costs just to go for cheaper and much weaker options. Having many lesser gens is less worth it than having one powerhouse. Especially for Rommel 40%. It is one of the harder or it is the hardest land mission for any Famous gen mission. Investing in newer strong gens and upgrades for current ones is the best way to overcome it.

Would Graziani be an equivalent and cheaper option? pretty much but you need to invest in him more The problem with Graziani is you can only get him two of the three S+ tier skills (out of Blitz, Panzer Leader, and Armoured Assault) but Rokossovsky can get all three, assuming you don't care about rumour.

Out of the 4 tankers, I wanted at least 3 generals with rumor so I gave Gud, Rom, and Gra rumor while giving Rokossovsky the "S tier skills." Honestly I think the 3 S tier skills are rumor, blitzkrieg, and armored assault. The reason I like Graziani is because he does well even without BLITZKRIEG.

That's why I find them equal but Graziani is cheaper.
