Hi. I am nearing the end of my break. I think it is time to start thinking about what I'll do after two weeks. So I was thinking that I need two naval generals, three tank generals, two arty generals, one inf gen, and one air gen. I've already got my inf gen and air gen worked out. (Arnold and Rundstedt) So I am wondering that is Kuznetsov worth to purchase because I don't want to save up for Donitz? Kuznetsov's got rumor, sailor and level 3 fleet leader. And Donitz only has wolfpack and depot ship extra. IMO, wolfpack and depot ship is not needed. And Donitz needs a lot of medals to be good and I don't have that kind of patience. So all I'm asking is Kuznetsov a good alternative to Donitz?
P.S. I'm a very impatient guy.

Well, I believe Donitz or Mountabatten are excellent Choices for the navy but, if you don't have the medals then go with your original plan. |

Donitz is most definitely worth the medals compared to Kuznetsov (and contrary to popular opinion, also compared to Nimitz in value) because Kuz.’s mobility is 2 and caps at 3, Donitz comes at 4 and can be 5. Kuz. only has 4 stars, so damage will be significantly lower.
Kuz. has no option for a 4th perk, so no explosives (the most valuable navy medal in conquest as the navy is for cracking cities).
Donitz already has Wolfpack, which is considerable in invasions, making many 12 medal ones possible that otherwise are not (due to high navy HP coupled with low output).

He is twice the price of Kuznetsov and for the price of Donitz, you are probably close to maxing our Kuznetsov and you need a lot. A LOT more medals to make Donitz actually worth. There are one or two campaigns in the Pacific where two naval gens might be useful: Midway, and Coral Sea. They will be useful with two naval generals, especially on hard. But with one naval general it is still doable but two might come in handy when you need backup or when your first naval gen is dead. |

Wolfpack is literally AMAZING in invasions. Just watch your regular cruisers do higher damage than the enemy general. You'll eventually want Donitz so Kuznetsov will be a waste of time. |

I started using Donitz as my main naval gen as soon as I got him. So he's very worth it. |
