Also where can i find army_rocket.xml the file doesn't exist only army_artillery.xml

... must be one of the 10 starting lines ... all other are small... 炮 = gun t^7 = wheel I'm looking for a usable workflow ... 10min more ... Hard to say, loocking for the position you mean line 8 But 火箭炮 means RocketLauncher -// I don't have a workflow for easy tranlation - I remember Darth Vader using gboard to translate. You will get soon the next problem: There is just one launcher for single and double formation, so you will have to edit all the animation. Do you have a graphic tool?

A question how did you add the tanks in ew4 they are in separate picture names and how did even the game read it?

Well i found a 110rocketlauncher1.png only Line 8 - must be this! - I got false translations - for this I fuzz around. It's not me - ET messes around with the names: 110rocketlauncher1.png is just the rocket. But we know now: 110&&& is the rocket. The xml is easy to understand x and y is the position w-idth, h-eight and the offset. I didn't test it! But there is a high probability that a unreferenced.png will be searched in assets (for the GUI it works, but you have to load the gu-libs, so its a bit different) but worth a try - I'm too short on time ATM for testing.

How come the pictures is being read in the motions file considering the fact that there is no png files there

This is my point - the difference is made in the anim (more man) - and it appears in two xml. The real work will start. For me it's first to edit the animations (and you add a complete new texture for your double formation )

I explain it: Sprite Libs
The combination of a picture (.png, .pkm, etc.) and XML-file is an industry standard. It is a basic functionality of android and iOS. (I use the EW4 image_ui.png + image_ui.xml for my postings here)
The game loads the XML and extracts all sprites like they were singe files. .png because it has transparency, pkm are compiled images directly for your graphic chip (enormous difference in performance!!! - not in file-size) IOs has a different format
During development you have all single files - one click and a packer generates the graphiclib(s) + xml.
Modding: With any graphic utility you can control just with the cursorposition (x and y) if the sprite is the right one. You can make it 'invisible' if you set w="1" h="1" in the xml.
You can play with the xml: If you add new generals, duplicate the xml-lositikn of the picture you want and give your mynewgeneral.png - as long you don't have additional lib files.
I'm not sure how the game loads which libs. army_*.xml seems to be loaded automatically. General-libs, UI, etc. are loaded with the help of device_resources.xml you can add here more libs, but not all filenames are working (a _ seems to have a function? - just try it)
-Edit- PS Filenames. I know: The extension of the <texture name= in the xml-file is ignored! xml and graphic lib have to have exact the same filename. - I have no idea if the <texture name= is used - just make it correct.
