Hello mosin. Welcome to the EFC. My knowledge about Generals is not experienced, but I know, that you have already some of the best males you can get. They can guide you all throughout the game. There is a very good and detailed Analysis of our General-Guro: Friedrich βFried Riceβ Paulus in the headquarter: All Generals ranked with the discussion.

There is a very good and detailed Analysis of our General-Guro: Friedrich βFried Riceβ Paulus in the headquarter: All Generals ranked with the discussion. I am very interested. Are those generals all bought with emblems? How do you use them? I think Washington is maybe the best infrantry general because he has mass fire and leadership, but I've only played him in the 1776 conquest. I've played twice, once purchasing medals and generals and now free to play, so I am interested in your gaming experience, ie is the game easy? lol

Alright so I have Washington, Lannes, Kutuzov, Radetzky, and LaSalle. What do you all think of my current generals and what generals should I try for, Any help and/or criticism is appreciated! Washington Price: 8 Emblems Type of General: Infantry Starting Movement: Inf: 4 hex light infantry, 3 hex line infantry, grenadiers, guards, and milita, 2 hex on machine gunners. One of the more beginner friendly infantry generals available as an iap. Leadership + Mass Fire makes him a great meatshield with spikes. His stars are also very good. Economic Master is also not to be overlooked as it will cause additional cash when washington is defending cities (which he is very good at rest assured) as well as additional food when he is on farms. Fanastic The only thing I will say is that the lack of bugle means you have to be careful with his targets. Trenches and big cities will have a 20% or more reduction in his damage.

Lannes AA, MF, LD, GEO
Price: 8 Emblems
Type of General: Land poniatowski, with emphasis on infantry.
Starting Movement:
Inf: 3 hex light infantry, 2 hex everything else Cavarly: 3 hex on everything Artillery: 2 hex on everything
Training Stars: 3
Lannes is a very capable general. On infantry, he is very deadly and the hardest general to fight against as an opponent. He is george washington with assualt art. On artillery and cavarly, he is as good as Poniatowski. Lannes only weakness is how bad his movement starts off. Otherwise, very recommended.
5* on infantry is awesome. Mass Fire and Geography trade off, because only infantry can use mass fire and infantry already have geography. With Lannes and Washington you are set for infantry.

Kutuzov
FIRE, DA, SM, FOR
Price: 8 Emblems
Type of General: Hybrid
Starting Movement: 3 hexes on all infantry units but machine gunners, 4 hexes on light cavarly and heavy cavarly, 3 hexes on armored cars and grenadier cavarly, 3 hexes on rocket artillery and light artillery, 2 hexes on siege artillery and heavy artilery, 3 hexes on frigates, 2 hexes on battleship and ironclad.
Kutuzov is a stronger duckwood, as unlike duckwood, his skills are universal. But duckwood is free while Kutuzov is pretty expensive. Furthermore, he is not all that great on land either. He is basically Maria w. Siege and Defense art on Infantry (or Victoria w/o Mass Fire in other words). On other units, he is like a Ney w/o Spy. Kutuzov tries to do everything, and ends up being average on everything. A bad iap for the same price as Nelson, who unlike Kutuzov, knows how to be a powerful navy hybrid. This guy is bad.
I don't really think he's bad but his skills are a potpourri. Defensive Art is always useful but Fireproof never is. For Formation, he needs to be on infantry, but not really needed behind Washington and Lannes. Siege Master is good for attacking cities.

Radetzky is one of the top cavalry generals having the strike surprise combo. War master is great for bumping up rank.

You will feel the difference with lasalle because of low training stars, everything else with him is great. With war horse and saddle can get armored cars to 5 movement.

The only thing it looks to me that you are short on is artillery generals. Spy isca useful skill because it gives extra damage to forts. For artillery move stars and accuracy are the most important.

Alright so I have Washington, Lannes, Kutuzov, Radetzky, and LaSalle. What do you all think of my current generals and what generals should I try for, Any help and/or criticism is appreciated! IIRC, besides Washington and Lannes, the rest have key criticisms and rivals that perform better on different aspects. For example, I think a lot of the members used Golitsyn as a standard for cav gens from Tier 2 and 3. Radetzky was bad because he tried to be too many things and was unsuccessful at both specialising and diversifying his strengths. Not sure about Kutuzov, but I think he had a skill or two that were badly ranked. This stemmed from memory of the older Gen Analyses threads in the Headquarters Board. (You can find the list in the pinned catalogue thread.)

And to answer the other, Radetzky, LaSalle and Lannes are my main assaulters. Washington is for capital defense, and Kutuzov is my semi attack semi defense role.
