To be honest I donβt use any of them on arty or navy, Iβm trying to get a very good general in both those regards, hopefully Nelson for navy and Moreau in Arty

Using the IAP generals is the game easier? Lannes looks so strong.

Using the IAP generals is the game easier? Lannes looks so strong. I believe so, especially when you start direct with the final lineup. My guide: IAP or the cheapest tier one trainers and Arnold - nothing else! The initial movement of 'Lames' is a pain and quite a longer way to fix. As much I learned from Friedrich βFried Riceβ Paulus, a good IAP should be almost perfect from the start.

I've never used IAPs, but if you say that an IAP purchase has to be perfect from the start, doesn't that dethrone Davout? Since he is the perfect cav/art hybrid (the two stronger units) when maxed but requires 2660 medals to max cav stars, art stars, and movement stars.

I'm not sure if any generals are perfect from the start, maybe Washington, the rest can benefit from some training. The fact that Davout requires 2660 medals (at least) to max out makes me think he's not really worth it.
