Sorry, no pictures.
I’ve noticed that Union 7 is the only campaign without a guide! To fill in the gaps, I might as well make one to help others as well. First off, Union 7 if you know what you’re doing is quite easy. I’d say easier than Union 5 and around the difficulty of Union 3 and 6. Note before this is that I have all resource wonders. My tech isn’t too bad, artillery lvl 8, tank lvl 9, ion cannon lvl 8, missile lvl 3, infantry, supply, etc. are lvl 5 ish. Gernerals I used were Guderian, Badigilo, Govorov, Goring, Patton, and Vatutin. However Goring can be replaced with any infantry general or not even one at all.
For resources, I used five nukes and the rest mainly went towards keeping Novosibirsk in my hands with light infantry.
The Beginning
In this mission, you must capture Dihua, Novosibirsk, destroy two alien towers, and protect Chukiov. Now here’s the trick. If you are able to capture Novosibirsk before Chukiov dies and he dies right after, you’re still in the game. This is very important.
I put Guderian on the super tank, Govorov on the field artillery, Vatutin on the right heavy tank, Badigilo on the rocket artillery, Patton on the left heavy tank, and Goring on the left commando near Patton. First things first is that I sent Guderian as far up as I could and attacked the UFO. Now this is important ish. He must not get retaliation. If he does restart however if you are confident you can keep going. Send the rest of them except Patton and Göring up that way as well towards Chukiov. Destroy all the UFOs and ONLY UFOs. If UFOs are not in sight then you can attack carriers. Patton and Goring went up the west side towards the city with the missiles. Make a nuke.
Guderian will lose a lot of health or maybe even die. That’s ok. What matters is that you get the motorized infantry near Novosibirsk. Keep it in capture distance but make sure it doesn’t get hit by the tower. Now around turn 3-4 when you are able to capture it, send a MRB nuke towards it and capture. Next, with the other troops clear out the alien units near there. For me, only Badigilo, Govorov, and Vatutin survived, with Govorov around 1/4 near dead. As for Novosibirsk? Try to conserve as much as you can but if you’re forced to switch out a unit. Make two nukes.
In the west, I sent Patton and Goring up to the city. Goring soaked up most of the damage while Patton worked on capturing the city. The sooner, the better. After you capture it, hold.
The Middle
Vatutin, and Badigilo went to attack the tower. Use your ion cannon on this tower too. This might be a long process, so be ready. As for Govorov, use him to defend Novosibirsk. If no units are coming towards it, use him to attack the tower. Nuke Patton and Goring’s tower with the two nukes. After destroying the East tower, send them towards the other one near Patton and Goring.
As for Patton and Göring, use them to mainly defend. Badigilo, Vatutin, and Govorov (if he’s still alive) will finish the job. Make two more nukes. By this point your mainland cities will be under attack. It is a waste of resources to defend Changchun and Peking; let them fall.
The End
After finishing off the two top towers, send your units towards Dihua. Then nuke it twice and capture the city with it. If you want to be quicker, you can place a paratrooper nearby and then nuke it twice. Whatever way works for you. And that’s it! Victory for China and the Soviets!
NOTE
This strategy helped me with bronze however it might not be compatible with silver or gold. Always feel free to tweak or switch the strategy a bit to fit your or the game’s liking.
