Introduction
UK 1950 is quite a good country to play as in 1950. In this campaign the NATO alliance has an edge so that will make your life much easier. You have access to both theaters of war; Asia and Europe. You also have access to nukes; another advantage. Overall for me this was the easiest 3 star nation to play as. What is important is that you don’t rush your units, use anti-air, and you build as many nukes as possible.
Generals used - Guderian, Badigilo, Govorov, Ozawa, Göring, one eye-covered. However I’m confident that you can do this without Göring and Govorov, and maybe without Guderian.
Tech - Anything will do. Most important is that you unlock MRB, artillery/tank is lvl 6 or higher, and you have PMI.
Now let’s go claim the communist land for the Queen!

The Beginning
This is the most important time in any conquest. What I did was I placed Göring, Badigilo, Govorov, and Guderian on units in Europe. Send them over to Europe but WAIT! Do not advance further than the Rhine! If you do your units will be torn apart by missile and strategic bomb fire! Send your aircraft carrier general to the north to attack the Soviet generals attacking Scandinavia. Sweden, Norway, and Denmark will fall. Maybe even Amsterdam. This is good. Capture the cities when you can. Meanwhile, make nukes as much as you can. Nuke the Soviet generals out of existance.
In the East, I placed Ozawa on field artillery and an eye-covered on either a built field artillery or another unit. Do not advance north until you nuke and capture Thailand. Then send them to the Chinese city about to fall. Capture it! Then, send your units to Chongqing and capture that ASAP. What is important is that you do not disturb the Chinese generals to the right attacking South Korea and Japan. Once you capture Chongqing move your main force to Wuhan, Hong Kong, Naking, and Peking. Nuke cities you find appropriate. For Lhasa, Dihua, and the unnamed lvl 1 city in middle China send a few PMI to capture them. This is arguably the most important front for now and you should be spending most of your money here as you can’t really advance in Europe yet.
After you kill many Soviet generals, move your units to Budapest when the French have weakened it a bit. Capture it. Then move at capture
Krakow ASAP. Then move down to Sofia and WTO captured Greece and Turkey. Nuke cities you find appropriate. Then build up and prepare your units.
The Middle
Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, and WTO captured Greece/Turkey should have fallen by now. If you can, send a general into the Middle East to finish off Iraq and Iran. However most units should go into the Soviet Union. Nuke and capture Kiev and Minsk ASAP. Then send your units towards Moscow. Nuke if you feel like it’s necessary. Riga and Leningrad should be the last city in the west to capture. Then after that, you have crippled the Soviets enough that you can capture the rest of their cities!
In the East, you should of captured a good deal of China’s cities. Nuke Karborask and Changchun ASAP and capture them with PMI. Capture Shanghai and Taipei, nuking them if necessary. Pyongyang can be left off however if you want the extra income capture it.Then you should be able to reach Japan. The Japanese islands should be almost completely occupied by the Chinese by now. However their cities should still be relatively weak. Strike fighters and PMI should finish the job, maybe a nuke or two. And that is the East relatively finished off! In some games, the Chinese might of reached the American continent. No need to worry, just send a few PMI and missiles towards Alaska and it should be in your hands.
The End
Mop up Mongolia, and the rest of the USSR and China. As for Africa, send loads of PMI to capture Alexandria and Cairo. It might take some time however. Then send PMI to capture the southern Soviet African city and Addis Ababa which should of been captured by the Soviets now. The other Soviet city in Africa should of been captured by the Americans however if it has not capture it with PMI. And that’s it! We’ve defeated communism and claimed the vast lands of Russia and China for the Queen! Hail Britannia!
Conclusion
Just remember; don’t rush, make nukes, nuke + paratroop is VERY IMPORTANT in late stage game. Feel free to tweak the strategy a bit if it does not work out for you. Good luck!
