Introduction
Poland 1960 from what I found is quite a difficult nation to play with, however if you are quick you can easily neutralize the threats and cross oceans to the other continents for a victory. It all depends on how you play the conquest. For me, I focused mainly on securing the victory so my results were a bit slower (around 64 ish rounds). The key points in this conquest much like any other 1950/60 conquest is PMI, nukes, and rocket artillery. Feel free to tweak the guide anytime you want to favor your or the game’s liking. And without further ado, let’s begin!
Generals used - Guderian, Badigilo, Govorov, Goring, Ozawa, 1 EC. However the conquest can be done without Goring or/and Ozawa.
Tech - any will do, however must have PMI (lvl 6 recommended) and MRB missile unlocked.
Picture Guide - Black is the main attack route. Red is the secondary attack route. Blue is optional, green is your ally’s attack and yellow is important information.
The Beginning
The hardest bits. The nation of Poland is face to face with its greatest enemy; Germany. I used all my units on beginning forces. DO NOT attack Berlin right away! Manstein will plow through your troops like it's 1939 all over again. Instead, focus on Prague and Munich. Once you have secured them and Berlin has been weakened by nuke via ally you can attack it, however be very careful. Once Berlin falls you cna now produce nukes. Build nukes as much as you can. Cologne is next in line for your capture. Try to capture it quickly. After that city falls, move to Amsterdam and Brussels. Nuke French and British generals that are nearing your army. What is important is that you do this fairly quickly. The British and French like to nuke a lot so we need the most use out of our generals as we can get. The East Prussian city as well as Scandinavia should be taken care of by the Soviets. Make artillery and nukes.
Move into France fast. Nuke cities you find appropriate to nuke. However what is more important is to capture Lyon. There you strip the French ability to make nukes and capture an important city to produce artillery. Mop up the rest of Southern France, and move into northern Spain and Italy. Northern France can be taken care of by a general and some rocket artillery and para nuke.
Spain and Portugal should be fairly easy. Nuke their cities and capture them. Then drop some paratroopers to capture Dakar. As for Italy, nuke Rome and Naples to capture them. If you’re lucky your allies will help you take Italy. Italy is not an important front to care about, you are better suited taking care of the Spanish and British fronts. Speaking of British front…
Invade Britain with a swarm of rocket artillery and nukes. Nuke cities and para drop into them. Feel free to para spam as well. The UK must fall very quickly, as they are very dangerous. Then by the defeat of them, the last European nation has been defeated. In Iberia and the UK, mass rocket artillery and motorized infantry, as well as some carriers. Build as many nukes as possible as well. You will need them.
The Middle
Congratulations! Europe is feeling the Polish boot. But we still have the North Americans to take on. Use your troops to land in Canada. Now this is important. Take Ottawa AS FAST AS YOU CAN. It is important as it opens the way for the entire East coast to bow to you. After that, nuke New York, DC, Toronto, and Miami. Capture them. Then land all your units and start moving west. Beware of US paraspam however. As for carriers, move them south towards Cuba.
Move a good deal of your troops west and capture Denver. Then in Canada, ignore all cities and capture Vancouver. As with Vancouver, you can nuke the rest of the cities and capture them easily. Take the Alaskan city fast as well. San Francisco can be nuked however Los Angeles can’t. You’re going to have to bomb out Los Angeles. However after that, you finally finished off Canada and the US! Now to move into Asia.
Capture Sapporo in Japan. Then nuke the rest of Japan and end it. Then this is tricky. Depending on your game China will either be completely dead, struggling to live, or barely touched. Either way you have to take some more land. Simply nuke and paradrop into them. With the rest of your units however, create carriers and rocket artillery to capture Midway and Hawaii. Nuke and paradrop into Manilla.
The End
You are near the edgame now. Don’t get too cocky! In Africa, mop up what you have left and bomb into Fortaleza. With your carriers, troops, and MRB missiles, nuke and capture Havana, and then onto the city in Hispaniola. With Fortaleza, you can fighter/bomb the rest of the Brazillian cities into submission. Not so hard after all.
Capture Midway and Hawaii. Remember if you have MRB you can target the islands with them. Once you grab Hawaii CAPTURE ITS PORT! Spam aircraft carriers from there. Move them to Brisbane. From Manilla, paraspam some troops into Thailand. Nuke Bangkok and capture it. If necessary, bomb Kolkata and capture that. Then, paradrop onto new Guinea. Nuke Port Moresby and capture that. From there nuke Darwin and paradrop into it. And finally; the last NATO city Brisbane. Bomb it into submission and finally capture it.
You have now successfully united most of the world under one Polish empire!
Conclusion
This conquest is very fast paced in the beginning with Europe however slows down incredibly, especially with crossing oceans. Nukings are relatively common. You can kiss Warsaw’s health goodbye. But still though, if you’re fast in Europe that guarantees a good income and maybe even a victory. Good luck.
