Lighter cavalry units can easily be taken care of by the infantry. The breastplate cavalry is best handled by any machine gun unit. The armoured units are harder to choose which one to use when taking out. As such, someone else may need to explain that part.

Either its armour type or its weapon type has an advantage against light cav, IIRC.
