What I did is deploy leclerc on the tank you get right away, and chuikov on the heavy artillery. I then pushed north with everything except the AA infantry. I took the city that causes bocks forces to have a morale drop, then took the allied city in the north since the general died. I fought the germans by the airfield, deploying timonshenko on the double stacked tank you get as reinforcments. I also rotated back damaged armor and artillery, while using infantry as a meatsheild for my artillery. I bought only infantry with the cash feature in the bottom, but you can by aircraft to help take out generals if you need. Hope this helps.

I managed to do it using Timoshenko, Chuikov and Zhukov. I don't think you need him, because the artillery itself is enough to take care of spam and the only thing he was useful at is killing Guderian 2 turns early. If however 2nd arty gen turns out important, Bock should do it (Zhukov didn't activate his double attack ability ONCE) Main strategy: Lower front:
-Kharkiv is supposed to fall before Rokossovsky decides to strike. You should help him with some forces (I used Timoshenko on 2xtank, armoured car and later Airborne infantry to control the city). They should be sent about turn 6-7 to meet with Zhukov's forces -After that, you may want to send Timoshenko to help him with general and take the airport. -Use remaining troops to defend Kharkiv and Zhukov. Timoshenko can help, if they are too weak. Higher front: -You can use planes from turn 3. Immediately send two paratroopers to cripple heavy artillery (ideally 3xinfantry, but can be 2x if you cannot afford them) -From turn one use your heavy artillery with Chuikov to attack enemies from behind the lake. Do as much dmg as you can. Use one 3xinfantry with an anti-air gun to go take the upper city from behind. -After taking the city, kill their battleship (wtf is it doing there anyway?) and wait. You get 2 3xinfantries for taking the upper city and your flank is secured. -Set up your defences on the 2-hex gap and kill everything using your infantry, tank and (especially) artillery. -After Zhukov arrives, you get another artillery (3rd one). Place there Bock (or not) and get ready for their 2 infantry generals. -Defend Moscow, use mass artillery bombardment and kill both of them. -After doing so you can either wait for Guderian or go for him. I chose the latter because both my artilleries were still intact -Try taking the 2nd marked city, so that his morale drops. Block him with leftovers of your infantry and tanks, strike with artillery. -Pay attention to your airports. It's easier IMO to take the Kharkiv one, as you only face 1 general (not three). But higher is still an option, especially if you defeat Guderian early.
Seeing how much of advantage I developed with Zhukov and bad rng, it's definitely doable this way with Bock and Chuikov
