I seem to struggle with this mission, especially the secondary mission to occupy Oslo. Getting Copenhagen is easy and Mountbatten usually dies himself. But getting Oslo is rough. I've tried to land the troops earlier, I've tried full on confrontation. That has yet to work. I can't seem to get this mission done generally either. Any tips?

How about using scout to get extra distance with the paratroopers or maybe save your economy to air spam with the airport next to oslo? That how I did it |

I upgraded all my infantry to airborne troops, jumped to Copenhagen and from there to the northernmost part of the peninsula, quickly seized the airport, jumped to the outskirts of Oslo and supported the paratroopers with my tanks coming from the sea. That’s how I did it.

That’s how I did it. What about the rest of mainland Denmark? Do we ignore the enemies there? |

Usually, you will only need the airport in the northern part of the peninsula as a stepping stone. So as long as they don't prevent you from jumping to Norway then I guess it is fine to leave them alone. I usually use my units that cannot jump to clear them though. |

I managed to get Oslo in 13 turns. I could go for the lower city in Norway and then assist in Oslo for the quicker time.

I found out, that taking oslo is not that hard, when choosing the right path. The trick is to supply the german forces with 2 paratroopers and take the oslo airport. After that spam the shoot out of it with fighters, move infantry there and recruit units. Also, you should conquer mainland Denmark for economy bonus and airport

I managed to beat the level in 15 turns by taking Copenhagen quickly, beating Denmark, taking the lower city and bombing Oslo, Moving Bock to the left airport and Bomb the other city and finally landing my infantry to win. Got Oslo in 13 turns again. But at least I'm done with this mission. Thanks to all who have helped me.

That’s how I did it. This worked. Thank you. Instead of heading straight to Oslo, I went to the airport-city area on the SW coast of Norway. It's safe to come here for a quick raid and refill before spamming your paratroopers to Oslo. |

Apparently ET has recently published an update to reduce the difficulty of this Campaign and added a tip, "Use parachute wisely to clear the level more quickly."
I wonder what's the difference.
