So after getting stuck on Arras I decided to try the allied campaign. All went well until when I had to defeat Riccardi. The problem is that he heals like crazy to the point where he's able to break even with the damages I do on him. You have to concentrate your torpedo bombers on the enemy naval generals to make them enter confusion. I have never seen them heal under confusion. |

Hello, mind if i ask how to beat battle of taranto in GoG 3? I have montgomery. Please ask campaign questions in their respective threads. For beating the level, you just need to defeat the two ships on the North east corner of the map. For that, put Leclerc on the tank, Montgomery on the Aircraft carrier and Cunningham on the Battleship. First, use all your ships to destroy that submarine. Equip your artillery with transport. Put Engineering troop on your infantry. Make sure to protect your infantry as he is important. Now, use the aircraft carrier and landing units to destroy the coastal artillery first as it will keep striking the ships. Then, conquer the rest of the island as soon as possible. Once you have ensured that the entire island is cleared, use your engineering infantry to build coastal artillery and use them to fire on the ships. Send all your remaining units into a suicidal charge into those ships. Note that you should use your aircraft carrier and Battleship also to fire on the ships. And keep spamming all the ships you can from the reinforcement section. Also use Torpedos from the airport. Make sure not to go close to Taranto because it is guarded with coastal artillery and if you want to perfect clear this level, then do the same, except that you should use your income to destroy the anti air gun behind Taranto first, then destroy the Armored Car by air strikes. Then equip your infantry with Paratrooper and paratroop into Taranto. Sure he will die, but it's the easiest way. I recommend you to perfect clear it later, after you have better Tech. |

Jadimir, spamming the contruction of coastal forts is the only way to ensure that your inf can target Riccardi. The coastal tiles on the east of the northern island should all be in range of firing upon Riccardi. If you're aiming for a basic clear, let your arty, armoured car and heavy tank attack Campioni first, soaking up most of his counterattack dmg. Let your inf continuously replenish or stack HP so that they can effectively fire upon Riccardi. Concentrate your bombings on clearing out the northern island and sinking the two admirals.

Jadimir , here's my guide for you. Main Objective: Defeat 2 key units (max turns 12)
Secondary Objectices:
Defeat Campioni (Turn 6)
Occupy Taranto (turn 8)Generals: only Leclerc and Cunningham. i only had 1 Navy tech level. Steps: Leclerc and bois go to North City, capture it, while Cunningham attack Campioni and Aircraft carrier use torpedo bombers to Campioni first. After you get city save 1 infantry for Parachute Regiment or Paratrooper. Then attack Riccardi while you use fighter to kill unit in Taranto. Use Regiment/Paratrooper to land in Taranto while you attack Riccardi with torpedo bomber and cunningham. He (Cunningham) died and so did my paratrooper in Taranto. Keep bombing Riccardi and when my unit died in Taranto, AI never bothered to capture Taranto even though wide open. Completed it 13/14 turns. That's it
