So I managed to beat this mission with all the side objectives, but it was f8king hard. If you could write your strategies on this one I'd be grateful. I'm very curious about other, maybe better strategies to max out this mission than rushing through the left side, taking Singapore and struggling to take the last objective city.

This guide will be pretty bad but
Generals used:Nagumo, Ozawa, Yamashita, Guderian, Leeb, Model Deploy your generals on starting units and land at Songkhla, Advance to the west city where friendly reinforcements come, and move south. Use the starting navy to support allies, and once you are able to get a battleship and carrier on the west side and deploy your navy generals. On turn 12, with make sure you have an infantry unit with some form of paratrooper on the airfield north of kuala lumpur, and destroy the unit next turn with whatever means you have available (air strikes, navy support, allied troops suicidal landings) then parachute. Continue pushing south, and when the friendly reinforcements arrive to attack the dutch, use your carrier to support. On turn 21, have an infantry unit or general on the airfield to the northwest of singapore on the mainland. and destroy the unit on singapore next turn and parachute (Be sure to destroy the AA Infantry with navy troops, or else its all pointless). Start moving troops to the dutch island as soon as you can, if you have any infanty left use parachutists with the dutch airport to take the last city. There is no AA defenses near the dutch city.

Landing in Songkhla
- Capture the port with your infantry so that you can land your tank (probably with Guderian) in the first turn . - I suggest not putting Bock on any unit yet. Keep him for a heavy tank because of this Leadership skill.
- You should be able to capture Songkhla by turn 2.
- From Songkhla, ignore the top left city (Satun?) and head directly southwest to capture the city with factory (Penang?).
Moving South
- It is very beneficial to have one of your infantry to capture the nearby radar.
- At the same time, put Ozawa on a battleship, and together with Kondo, raid the eastern coast city (Pattani?). This will help Yamashita group with the landing.
- I also recruit one aircraft carrier to help with the raiding and scouting.
- Constantly aiding AI allies' landings is very crucial. With your naval raid, they can take care of the whole eastern coast by themselves. If the British troops on the eastern coast are not taken care of, they will swarm you while you are progressing on the western coast
- It is very beneficial to send one infantry to help capturing cities on the eastern side. AI can sometimes be very not so smart about capturing city. It also allows you to steal those cities from your AI allies. I am pretty sure that having money on your hand is better than AI's.
- Be very careful about the British troops in the mountain range in the middle of the map. They are numerous and can overwhelm you. So keep scouting and attacking them with your artilleries or airstrike (from your carrier) as you move south.
Capturing Kuala Lumpur
- By the time you captured Penang, you should be able to recruit a heavy tank and a heavy artillery. I put Bock on the heavy tank and add one more stank right away (which means you need to recruit tank in the factory and artillery in the city). I add the +3 movement special force on the artillery. Heavy artillery is very important for sieging Singapore so keep them safe!
- Then move down and capture the next city with an airport to the south (Perak?).
- Use Perak as your base to capture KL. Watch out for the British troops attacking from the mountain (again). Since the attack is from the east, keep your heavy artillery safe from that direction.
- KL can be easily bombarded with heavy arty given that you position them safely from the British. Having Guderian on the Hungarian 44M TAS tank makes capturing KL very easy since you can just run in from distant.
- As a safety measure, have one paratrooper sitting in the Perak's airport. In case that you cannot make it in time, you can always attack KL with airstrikes (which is possible due to that lonesome infantry of yours stealing cities from your AI allies) and jump there directly. Model, an infantry general with 2 star in airforce, is decent for this job.
- You should be able to capture Songkhla by turn 13. I can do it in around turn 10-11. But if rushing means taking more damage then just go slowly. In the most recent play, I spent a couple of turns dealing with the troops around the mountain first before take KL in turn 12.
- In the meantime, Kuantan should also be captured by your AI allies. If not, then you can go back there later on. After the fall of Singapore, that is.
The Siege of Singapore
- Capture the next two cities to the south (probably Malacca and Johor respectively).
- Again, as a safety measure, have one paratrooper sitting in the Malacca's airport. But since Singapore is pretty well defended, it is better not to swim there at all. Just clear its defense and jump there with the paratrooper (preferably at max stacked).
- To siege Singapore, use the two of your heavy artilleries. The priority target is not the dude sitting in the Singapore city but rather the anti-air special force sitting right next to him. The best spot for your heavy artilleries is the two grid east of Johor.
- Destroying the anti-air defense allow you to spam air strike on Singapore city if it is needed. I had about a few hundreds gold coin by turn 21 (it's all thanks to the lonesome infantry, again!) so capturing Singapore is guarantee. - Once, Singapore is captured, the rest should be easy. You can attack the Dutch on Sumatra by paradropping from Malacca airport. With a range of 9, there are two grids that you can land.

Thanks for the guide! I just have a couple questions tho. Should I deploy kesselring on the carrier or the paratrooper? Should I deploy bock on the artillery unit or the heavy tank? Should I put Rommel on the heavy tank instead? What if my allies fail at clearing the east coast?

Thanks for the guide! I just have a couple questions tho. Should I deploy kesselring on the carrier or the paratrooper? Should I deploy bock on the artillery unit or the heavy tank? Should I put Rommel on the heavy tank instead? What if my allies fail at clearing the east coast? >>>Should I deploy kesselring on the carrier or the paratrooper? I think let him on a carrier is better since you can use airstrike constantly. An airstrike from airport is pretty unfeasible at the beginning because you do not have much gold. As an infantry general, Model works just fine. >>>Should I deploy bock on the artillery unit or the heavy tank? The only reason I put him on h.tank is because it's cheap to recruit more stack with him. But since you also have Rommel, it is a kind of crime not to let him on h.tank. So in you case, maybe h.artillery. >>>What if my allies fail at clearing the east coast? The east coast is not part of the bonus objectives so you can just go there after you are done with Singapore. But the real problem is the British troops from the east side will come to you, so as long as you manage to thin their rank, it should be fine. But with your Kessel on the carrier and Nagumo on battleship, you should be able to destroy/reduce the British troops on the east side. Btw, you do not need to go further than Kuantan because there will be a lot of enemies waiting to sink your ships. My naval tech level is only 2 (overall 3-3-3-2-2) so this does not really require much of a performance. Your AI allies will be doing fine if you aid them in their landing.

Go together with your allies, and control radars and supply cities, you really need all of those 3 paratroop infantries, I choose two big artillery guns and extra tank and aircraft carrier - all along east coast. At the end you have enough supplies to make 10 bombardments to get it flagged.
