In Army Group 1939 I had only Belgium and Holland. Has anyone passed these countries? Any tips or strategies for them?

Belgium is harder, because holland gets destroyed and north france+uk doesnt help. I tried and got destroyed by rommel and his tank group. Netherlands: is really hard, i used 5 generals for this, patton guderian govorov leeb and yamashita. Things can go different on each game, but this is the general idea from my experience, hope it helps:) Turn 1 kill the german gen in cologne, this way belgium can be more usefull for few turns, turn 2 destroy group B troops around you, your objective is to take all group B lands before they recruit rommel. This is a screenshot of turn 3 expand: prntscr.com/vu1iukKeep expanding till you take all group B lands. Ss of turn 7, when i took all their lands: prntscr.com/vu1iw2Turn 9 i made a second group of gens in berlin, govorov and patton: (first group is default dutch gen, yamashita leeb and gudenrian) here a ss: prntscr.com/vu1ixi Whit your second group go to help poland vs group D and whit the first focus on group A, from now be carefull to dont open a border whit group C. Group A will expand into your lands, let him if you need to recover forces. Turn 12 ss: prntscr.com/vu1j2fTurn 15 ss: prntscr.com/vu1j63, at this point i decided to open borders whit group C(2 turns later), this is the hardest part of the conquest, even if you are big. Yugo is already defeated and group C has full streng, you need to destroy all their units fast, i merged my 2 gen groups for this. I lose ducht gen yamashita and gudenrian during these turns. Here you also need to fund south france and central france if they are in problems. Poland will start losing to romania if you stopped the help in east, but thats fine, you can come back later. Be carefull because hungary is also waiting whit all his troops. Turn 23 ss: prntscr.com/vu1ja0i open border whit hungary, again this is hard, help poland, fund france, fight numerous stacks while you are outnumbered, but after hungary lose his power it should be easy. After that just go for romania income and finish the leftover of your enemies, wait to open border whit bulgaria when you have all under control. Final ss: prntscr.com/vu1jh0Took me 45 turns to finish this conquest, only govorov and patton survived. |

Excellent guide, thank you) I went through for Denmark in the same way.
A couple of additions:
As soon as possible, send a detachment of infantry to seize English lands.
Army group C is the most dangerous enemy, you cannot let them accumulate large forces. As soon as possible, capture Nuremberg with a good army of 2-3 generals (1 tank, 1 art minimum) and repel the attacks of the C-troops there. From there, if possible, take Munich with an additional move.

Yeah taking uk really helps, i tried belgium again after learning from my mistakes so here i will post the results. This was far easier than holland actually xD. Belgium has a parachuter special unit, and is really helpfull, you can take berlin for free from hamburg. Turn 1: you start whit 50 cash, take cologne and recruit a tank+gen there, manstein wont atack you that turn. Also make a inf in bruxelles to take uk. Turn 2: now manstein will atack any of your units around him, so go full to dormind to avoid a fight. Turn 3: you can start taking all group b lands. Here ss: prntscr.com/vufme5prntscr.com/vufmkqTurn 6 ss: prntscr.com/vufmzu i used a parachuter from hamburg to take berlin+finished group B. Turn 7 ss: prntscr.com/vufnb9i made a terrible mistake xddd i put patton in a art unit xd that made my conquest a bit slower. I was able to take poznan whit the parachuter from berlin, if you can take it too i think it is better to put your tank and art gen there, to help poland faster, but berlin is fine too. Now, same idea than netherlands conquest, finish group A and D, here poland first army group will be stronger because you helped faster. Then open borders whit germ group C and kill all his units. Also fund france if they need it. turn 17 ss: prntscr.com/vufnll killed majority of group C forces. Turn 20 ss: prntscr.com/vufnwt germany is gone, now just finish the game. Final ss: prntscr.com/vufnytOnly 28 turns compared to 45 turns holland conquest xd. PD: As netherlands i didnt took uk, and thats prob the reason this was easy compared to netherlands, uk income helps a lot. |

Yugoslavia 1941 is easy if you can take out Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria quickly and defeat the majority of the army of German South including their generals. I finished it with 38K Score.

The easiest passage for the Balkan Axis countries was Bulgaria. Yugoslavia throws all its forces on Hungary and you can easily seize its lands with small forces. The main army lands in Sevastopol (the Soviet fleet is inactive) and seizes the base in Zaporozhye.
