Interesting.In the chat people were talking about the possible cost of the ACE game.Would the preference be free to play or an upfront cost.
In reality consider how many hours of entertainment a game like EU4 or WC3 gave us (and for most people that would be in the hundreds/thousands of hours of pure entertainment) and compare that cost to something like going out for 2 hours to watch a new movie.
Putting that into perspective,no matter what the cost is,it still would be fairly small for the immense amount of fun entertainment it gives us.

I'll buy it for $5 and under. If it's really good then mayyyybe more but I doubt it'll even cost 3 dollars let alone 8 or so.

It might be free to play,that would make it more accessible to player who dont have access to cc's yet.That would be the most popular option.
They might also make it as payed game then turn it to free game after a few mounths.

I think it will be free, as Erich von Manstein said, its confirmed to be an online game, people dont mind if they get beaten by an AI. But they do mind when beaten by other players, they will do more when beaten by others. And are more likely to buy stuff to win (pay2win). But if there arent much players. People cant be beaten by others, so there less likely to buy in-apppurchases, making easytech less profit eventually |
