There is no link for this one... I am struggling a bit because I can't defend at least 2 cities for 24 turns... the allies just send way too many troops, and I get overrun. Any tips tricks etc. for this campaign level?

For this battle, you should max out whatever tech you have so that you can resist better.
You should try to have a strong line up of at least 2 Commanders (inf and cav) by now.
Accumulate Bombings so that you can drop 2 bombs on key targets, weakening them. For example, armoured cars and tanks.
Phase 1: The initial Italian attack
Mombelli and Giraldi will attack the central allied city. They will soon be assisted by the other two Italian gens and their respective army groups, one after the other. Defeating either Italian gen that started behind the river should induce a single morale drop for his respective army group.
Upgrade Vienna to lvl 6, build the University and deploy either Adelaide (50% discount for cav) or Iriana (50% discount for inf). I prefer inf so I deployed Iriana and spammed a mix of light inf and light machine gunners. You may consider deploying some Air Gun Soldiers if you accumulated enough resources.
Deploy your best gens on the starting units and march towards the central city. I deployed Hindenburg on the Howitzer because of his defensive aura.
Mombelli and Giraldi's troops will try to encircle the city. Defeat the flanking units. When the city falls, recapture it ASAP. Then, build a Palace and deploy Nikolayevna. It is highly recommended that you hold this city or restart to do so. The extra income and Nikolayevna's defensive aura will be vital in the coming battles.
Quickly overrun the Italian troops and prepare for the French assault.
Phase 2: France attacks!
Move your gens westward to meet the French. Maintain about a 1-hex gap from their stables. Form a north-south line stretching from the allied fort to the Alps.
Focus on one unit at a time to maximise the devastation on the enemy numbers. Taking out the French gens should lead to a 1X morale drop.
Your spammed inf should be used to defend this line if any of your gens is severely wounded and requires time to heal. Otherwise, deploy them north of the river to meet the Italian and British reinforcements.
Phase 3: The Ententé's final offensive
About one Italian, two French and one British army groups will arrive more or less in this order for a final offensive. The biggest threat is still the French side because you are defending large open plains which the French can easily move across while the geographical barriers on the Italian front will restrict the Anglo-Italian troops' movements.
Leave most of your gens to handle the French. Any spammed inf or gen deployed on a powerful unit (Armoured Car or Field Arty) are to assist on the Italian front. If you did deploy additional gens, use the Marches to hasten their movement to the frontier.
Even if the Anglo-Italian troops break through, do not panic. Pick off their weakest troops. Surround them with spammed troops. Wait for the French to be defeated before your other troops can move in to assist.
