I think Bock is better than messe because of his leadership ability and artillery are better than infantry (In my opinion).

Im disapointed, that Bock hast only 2 skills. Maybe a Tide of Iron 1 would be great. Just a 3rd Skill dir Tanks.

He is one of the few that performs the same way with tanks and artillery, which is a good thing as it didn't make me hesitate when no tank was available for him.
I only missed on him that plain fighting to be level 2 skill or a single point on mobility, but w/e, its free, he was still useful in my first campaign
