Another example of Rundstedt's survivability. Rommel and Messe are long dead but Rundstedt is alive and well to finish the task Why outlast your enemies when you can kill them in the blink of an eye?

Well, it is not always the case. One unexpected counterattack and Rommel (or Guderian) are history. Rundstedt is really unkillable and that gives me some interesting tactical possibilities I otherwise wouldn't have...

I've just bought badoglio as a secondary artillery general to help leeb and they are amazing to open a battle by chipping the enemy, badoglio from a distance with Karl and leeb doing massive damage with elephant, and from there guderian,Rommel, and yamashita just run in and finish the job

I was thinking of hiring Leeb too, but unfortunately I don't see two heavy artillery units that often in Axis campaigns. So, I would rather keep my medals for some Japanese generals.

That's understandable, but when the stars do align and this combo is possible like in most western front missions in the east, they completely destroy enemy formations, one time leeb and badoglio one rounded a 2 stack KV-6 konev with ease and then some and that's their best moment for me
