Halsey is better on an aircraft carrier, while Dowding is better on a paratrooper. Dowding has Carpet Bombing, which is great for taking cities and dive bombing, which is great for weakening the enemy so other units can put them into confusion. How is Arnold a good paratrooper? He has 0 infantry ability and logistic is a terrible skill for infantry. Additionally, he has 0 infantry skills that are actually beneficial. |

Only those with good infantry ability are. Arnold has +10 damage on artillery. He does not have any infantry skills to make up for his lack of infantry ability. Halsey's lack of infantry ability makes him better on an aircraft carrier. Dowding's +15 damage on infantry makes him better on a paratrooper. |

He is not necessary and you might want to save up medals for other generals, but I bought him anyway.

Monty and Tassigny seem mediocre to me personally in comparison with other generals, so if I did not have iaps, I would go with dowding. As even tho he lacks aura, he has the other two essential skills on land generals, carpet bombing and dive bombing |
