Can you please help me clear this level? I take the northern city and Stalingrad, but when my forces go and capture the northeastern city and the southern city, I get surrounded and my army gets destroyed.

After you've crossed the river, split your troops up to attack Voronezh and the other cities simultaneously. Watch out for Vatutin's counterattack at Voronezh!
Move eastwards on both sides. Target the areas and army groups north of Stalingrad first.
Use Model and his 2* in Air to attack the Stalingrad troops.
Keep your troops relatively close, but beware the Soviets' Katyushas and KV-4s!
At the end, the use of paratroopers and air attacks is the only way to win. You would have accumulated enough money for this.
Concentrate on the target city closest to the eastern borders of the expanded map. Then, use its airport to attack the other city. Send a paratrooper in to finish the job.
Minimally, you'd want to hire Leeb and use an Elefant on the starting heavy arty.
Deploy either Bock and a Panther on the starting tanks while Messe commands the armoured cars OR Bock commands the have tank while Messe leads the Panthers on the starting tank.
Around Turn 10, you should've captured either a large part or the entire city areas of the city SW of Saratov (along the river) as well as the city NW of Stalingrad (along the river).
You need to position your Elefant well to take out Timoshenko ASAP.
Split your troops accordingly. Heal them when needed and attack Saratov and Stalingrad simultaneously. Your allies should assist you with the attack on Stalingrad.
Stalingrad's fall should lead to a morale boost for your troops.
Beware of Zhukov's reinforcements east of Saratov! He commands a heavy arty with a Katyusha equipped.
Vasilevsky is located east of Stalingrad. Attack his position with the help of your allies.
Rokossovsky's forces will approach from the SE of Stalingrad. He should be sighted around the city surrounded on three sides by mountains.
Confront him when Vasilevsky is dealt with.
Finish the enemy reinforcements ofd and march accordingly southward.

*cough* messe *cough* Manstein Fair enough, I could have used Messe. But, it was operation typhoon that convinced me to get Kliest instead of using the free generals. |
